[EN/PT] In the alligator's mouth

# [EN] Last weekend, I went hiking in the Itabaiana Mountains in Sergipe. The trail was rated as intermediate difficulty, but even for me, who am not sedentary, I found it quite challenging, both in terms of distance and the difficulty of some sections. Initially, until you reach the top, it is all uphill—an elevation of more than 650 meters—and on the way back, it is all downhill. At a certain point, near the top of the mountain, I came across a rock shaped like an alligator. I wasted no time and took some pictures with this “harmless creature.” Its appearance resembles an alligator with its mouth open, ready to pounce on its prey. It's not every day that we can take pictures with an alligator up close! Everything on this trail seemed magical. Being in touch with nature makes us feel lighter — from the various waterfalls, each one more beautiful than the last, to the vegetation, with plants I had never seen before in my life. A day away from the noise of the city and in tune with nature is all we need to relieve the stress of everyday life. ---- # [PT] Neste último final de semana, fiz uma trilha na Serra de Itabaiana, em Sergipe. A trilha tinha nível de dificuldade intermediária, mas, mesmo para mim, que não sou sedentário, achei-a bastante desafiadora, tanto pela distância quanto pela dificuldade de alguns trechos. Inicialmente, até chegar ao topo, é somente subida — uma elevação de mais de 650 metros — e, na volta, só descida. Em um certo ponto, já perto do topo da serra, me deparei com uma pedra que possui o formato de um jacaré. Não perdi tempo e tirei algumas fotos com esse “inofensivo ser”. Sua aparência lembra um jacaré de boca aberta, pronto para dar o bote em sua presa. Não é todo dia que podemos tirar fotos com um jacaré bem de perto! Tudo nessa trilha parecia mágico. O contato com a natureza faz a gente se sentir mais leve — desde as diversas cachoeiras, cada uma mais linda que a outra, até a vegetação, com plantas que eu nunca tinha visto na vida. Um dia longe do barulho da cidade e em sintonia com a natureza é tudo o que precisamos para aliviar o estresse do dia a dia.
