Hey dear community, at the beginning I would like to welcome you all to my new post and hope you have a day so far that is full of interesting experiences! I have decided to share something about my travel experiences again and I am happy if you like what I do.

When I visited Egypt I saw various locations and got to see different facets of the culture and was able to make some impressive experiences in the capital Cairo where some of the most famous sights of the country can be found. Cairo was my first stop and I decided on the first day to drive straight to the pyramids to Giza which are just outside the heart of Cairo and the travel time took about an hour for which I ordered an Uber which I can recommend in every respect for other visitors because it works reliably here and is also cheap. Not everywhere in Egypt Uber works or the waiting times are way too long but in Cairo there are small problems here and it can also be recommended to choose the option Uber Comfort to get even better vehicles and who should drive by taxi, I can recommend to ask for a fixed price because the taxi drivers often do not have a taxi meter and therefore ask for more money. When I arrived at the pyramids it was still relatively early and quiet and at the ticket counter there are the different tickets to choose from and it can be worthwhile to buy a combined ticket which I unfortunately do not have and therefore had to buy the extra tickets again on site at the pyramids which cost a little more time because they have to be booked online.

The standard tickets start from about 9$ and to get inside the pyramids you have to buy additional tickets again if you don't have them bought on the entrance, which is why I can only recommend buying them right at the beginning. Everywhere on the site there are also people who also offer a ride on the camel or horse, but extreme attention must be taken here because everyone offers other prices which are sometimes extremely exaggerated and here people simply should ask different persons to avoid these falls and who still wants a ride with the camel, after the visit on the other side you will get much cheaper prices and also here can still be traded. There were also many who tried to sell me something that I sometimes found very annoying, but not all are the same here and there were also sellers who gave something away for free, but also numerous scammers who offer to take a photo and in the end ask for money for it, which is why visitors should be skeptical and not trust everyone here.

On the site itself there is also a shuttle bus which takes visitors from one pyramid to another, but this route to the pyramids can also be walked as I did and then I drove back to the entrance again with the bus which is included in the ticket and ordered an Uber to the hotel again, which also works here at the pyramids well. The entire complex is considered a world wonder of antiquity which is also in such an excellent condition and is also more than interesting from an architectural point of view and offers many surprises such as an engineering art which can also be seen inside the pyramids. Not every pyramid can be entered but three and I think it were even one more which was closed on this day but people here have to be prepared in every respect that it's very tight and some get claustrophobia because it's really extremely tight, but nothing can happen here and there is no reason to be afraid to go in. The most famous pyramids that can be found here are the Cheops, Chephren and Menkaure pyramid and another highlight is the well-known Sphinx which is a mythical creature that has the body of a lion and the head of a pharaoh.

The construction of the pyramids leaves many questions open which have not been clarified to this day and it is assumed that part of the material came from the area itself while another had to be transported hundreds of kilometers and thousands of people were involved in the construction behind which a well-structured system is in which everything was precisely planned. Even when it comes to the location, nothing was left to chance and I was amazed at how exactly the pyramids were adapted to the cardinal directions and here too the length or dimensions are perfect and how they were built so accurately is a large mystery for many which to this day is still not exactly clarified but proves how intelligent the ancient Egyptians were and what advanced technologies they had.

In addition to the purpose as burial chambers, there are thousands of secrets and mysteries that are associated with these buildings and some are of the opinion that a special energy is emitted here, which is why it could also be of interest to some from a spiritual point of view and there were also repeated phenomena that have occurred in the area for which there is no explanation and are still being investigated by scientists today. To this day, the pyramids are intensively researched and are not without reason one of the most famous sights of the country and who should be here must not miss to pay a visit to the pyramids and those who start in the morning can count on a good day trip. I hope the small recommendations above may be of interest to one or the other and it's also important to take a lot of water with you because the drinks here cost many times more and people also need sun protection how long clothes or a good hat.
