Con estas ideas quiero comenzar mi entrega a esta brillante comunidad respecto al desempeño del equipo cubano de béisbol juvenil. Los representantes de la isla, tras ser eliminados en la fase de grupos, tendrían que jugar la ronda de consuelo para disputar los puestos del 7 al 12.

Curiosamente, el sistema de juegos es muy parecido al de la súper ronda, pero en este caso, el equipo que más victorias tenga se lleva el séptimo escaño. Para Cuba ya tienen una ventaja ya que al arrastrarse los resultados de la fase previa, llegaban con record de 2-0. The representatives from the island, after being eliminated in the group stage, had to play in the consolation round to compete for positions 7 through 12.
Interestingly, the game system is quite similar to that of the super round, but in this case, the team with the most victories takes home the seventh spot. Cuba had an advantage as they carried over their results from the previous phase, arriving with a record of 2-0. This time, they were set to face Australia again in an international event. Once more, the Cubans overcame the island continent's team with a close score, mirroring what had previously been done by the senior team in the World Baseball Classic and Premier 12, as well as in the Little League World Series.
