Hace unos meses le prometí a mi sobrino Milan que le compraría unas ''chanclas'' como él les dice, nosotros lo conocemos coloquialmente como ''sandalias, cotizas o cholas''.
Él tiene varias, pero, sus pies van creciendo muy rápido y ya estaba por perder algunos pares, otros se los habían regalado a su primito Mathias y sus botas favoritas de lluvia ya comenzaban a apretarle, así que le dije que la semana siguiente cuando tuviera tiempo, lo llevaría a comprarlas.
Esto nos servía de excusa para tener una cita ''sobrino-tía'' que tenemos cada ciertos meses, me encanta llevarlo a algún parque, comer algo y pasar un momento solos él y yo. Siempre tiene algo que contar y siento que eso hace que creemos mucha más conexión y mucha más confianza.
Le dije a mi prima, que vive con él que lo ayudara a vestirse y que yo pasaría por el a cierta hora. Ella me envió el día anterior con una foto mostrándome la ropa que Milan había escogido para salir conmigo, esto me hizo mucha ilusión.

A few months ago I promised my nephew Milan that I would buy him some ''chanclas'' as he calls them, we know them colloquially as ''sandals, cotizas or cholas''.
He has several, but his feet are growing very fast and he was about to lose some pairs, others had been given to his little cousin Mathias and his favorite rain boots were starting to get tight, so I told him that the following week when I had time, I would take him to buy them.
This gave us an excuse to have a ''nephew-aunt'' date that we have every few months, I love to take him to a park, have a bite to eat and spend some time alone with him and me. He always has something to tell and I feel like that makes us create much more connection and much more trust.
I told my cousin, who lives with him to help him get dressed and that I would pick him up at a certain time. She sent me the day before with a picture showing me the clothes Milan had chosen to go out with me, this made me very excited.
Milan es realmente sobrino de mi novio, pero es un niño que se gana el corazón de cualquiera que lo conoce. Es muy tierno, cariñoso y sobre todo curioso. Cuando lo conocí no pude evitar enamorarme de él y desde entonces hicimos click, una conexión demasiado linda y una complicidad enorme. Suele llamarme para mostrarme sus regalos o sorpresas, siempre me cuenta todo lo que le pasa, si tiene un dulce nuevo siempre me guarda un trozo, nos brindamos un amor mutuo.
Decidí llevarlo a Costa Mall para buscar unas chanclas en Total o en Wendys Kids y de paso comernos un helado o una pizza.
Al entrar le pregunté a Milan que quería hacer primero, si comprar las chanclas o comer, me dijo que comprar sus chanclas así que me pareció una buena decisión y como íbamos pasando por Wendys Kids, entramos ahí.
En esta zapatería trabaja una representante de mi academia y nos atendió con mucho cariño, le dije que buscaba unas chanclas para Milan y ella me mostró los diseños, había de cars, de Spiderman y de Mickey Mouse.
Milan se las midió todas, pero, para nuestra mala suerte ninguna era de la talla que buscábamos, le quedaban súper justas y eso nos aseguraba que las perdería rápido.
Milan is actually my boyfriend's nephew, but he is a boy who wins the heart of anyone who meets him. He is very tender, affectionate and above all curious. When I met him I couldn't help but fall in love with him and since then we clicked, too cute connection and a huge complicity. He usually calls me to show me his gifts or surprises, he always tells me everything that happens to him, if he has a new candy he always keeps a piece for me, we have a mutual love for each other.
I decided to take him to Costa Mall to look for some flip-flops at Total or Wendys Kids and while we were at it we had an ice cream or a pizza.
When we entered I asked Milan what he wanted to do first, if he wanted to buy the flip flops or eat, he told me to buy his flip flops so I thought it was a good decision and as we were passing by Wendys Kids, we went in there.
In this shoe store works a representative of my academy and she attended us with much affection, I told her that I was looking for some flip flops for Milan and she showed me the designs, there were cars, Spiderman and Mickey Mouse.
Milan measured them all, but, to our bad luck none of them were the size we were looking for, they were too tight and that assured us that he would lose them quickly.

Nos enseñaron unas de Paw Patrol y esta le quedaban una talla más grande, Milan estaba un poco enojado porque quería las de Spiderman, es uno de sus súperheroes favorito pero le hice entender que era mejor comprar las que le quedaban un poco grandes para que le duraran más tiempo.
Él terminó aceptando esas chanclas de Paw Patrol y nos fuimos a la caja a pagar.
Estos zapatos salieron en 8$, me pareció buen precio, incluso más económicas de lo que pensé que costarían iba presupuestada para 15$.
They showed us some Paw Patrol ones and this one was one size too big, Milan was a little upset because he wanted the Spiderman ones, he is one of his favorite superheroes but I made him understand that it was better to buy the ones that were a little big for him so they would last longer.
He ended up accepting those Paw Patrol flip flops and we went to the checkout to pay.
These shoes came out at $8.00, I thought it was a good price, even cheaper than I thought they would cost I was budgeted for $15.00.

Seguimos caminando por el Mall y Milan se tomaba fotos en todos los sets navideños.
En una de las tiendas pequeñas llamada Giro's compré un polvo de la marca Salomé porque no tenía, este me costó si no me equivoco unos 8$ también.
Milan vio un tren que había de decoración y me pidio una foto, me pregunto si podía entrar a la cabina del tren y supuse se podía así que le dije que si. Le tomé la foto y le dije que fueramos a buscar el helado.
We continued walking through the Mall and Milan was taking pictures in all the Christmas sets.
In one of the small stores called Giro's I bought a Salome powder because I didn't have any, this one cost me if I'm not mistaken about 8$ too.
Milan saw a train that was decorated and asked me for a picture, he asked me if he could enter the train cabin and I assumed he could so I said yes. I took the picture and told him to go get the ice cream.

Milan cambió de idea con el helado cuando vio el nuevo parque que está en Costa Mall, hace unos meses también abrió sus puertas el parque ''Salta'' un pequeño parque en la feria de comida que tiene unos trampolines, mesas de pintura y otras cosas.
La entrada me pareció un poco costosa para las pocas cosas que tiene el parque, lo más entretenido que tienen son los trampolines. La entrada tiene un costo de 3$ pero debes comrpar unas medias que tienen un valor de 7$ y el niño puede saltar por 30 minutos, mas o menos.
Milan me dijo ''Tía no importa el helado, quiero entrar ahí'' así que, aunque iba a comprarle igual el helado, le dije que estaba bien, que podía entrar, pero de este parque les hablaré en otro post.

Milan changed his mind about the ice cream when he saw the new park that is in Costa Mall, a few months ago also opened the park ''Salta'' a small park in the food fair that has trampolines, painting tables and other things.
The entrance fee seemed a little expensive for the few things that the park has, the most entertaining thing they have are the trampolines. The entrance fee is 3$ but you have to buy socks that have a value of 7$ and the child can jump for 30 minutes, more or less.
