En enero comenzamos una nueva tradición en la academia: Celebrar los cumpleaños de cada mes.
Comenzamos con el primer mes del año, obviamente y en este mes habían varios cumpleañeros así que decidimos hacer nuestro primer compartir de cumpleaños con motivo ''Fiesta de colores''. Los niños debían asistir vestidos del mismo color de algo que llevaran para compartir, ejemplo: Se viste de negro y llevo un refresco.
Yo llegué bien temprano a la academia para decorar y una mami llegó también conmigo y trajo una máquina de llenar globos para ayudarme a decorar.

In January we started a new tradition at the academy: Celebrating the birthdays of each month.
We started with the first month of the year, obviously, and in this month there were several birthday boys and girls so we decided to have our first birthday sharing with a ''Color Party'' theme. The children had to come dressed in the same color of something they were wearing to share, e.g.: He wears black and I bring a soda.
I arrived early at the academy to decorate and a mommy came with me and brought a balloon machine to help me decorate.
Lo primero que hice fue sacar todos los elementos de decoración y colocarlos en la mesa mientras la mamá de Ian llenaba los globos para hacer un pequeño arco y decorar la pared.
Quise armar primero los banderines de Feliz Cumpleaños porque era lo primero que tenía que colocar en la pared.
Los puse en orden en la mesa para ir ensartandolos en la cinta y no equivocarme. Después de eso acomodé el mantel en la mesa, los cintillos y la corona del Rey cumpleañero, que en este mes era Ian. Cuando todo estuvo listo, llegó Zoe con la torta y los niños comenzaron a llegar uno por uno muy emocionados.
The first thing I did was pull out all the decorations and place them on the table while Ian's mom filled the balloons to make a little arch and decorate the wall.
I wanted to assemble the Happy Birthday banners first because that was the first thing I had to put on the wall.
I put them in order on the table so I could string them on the ribbon and make sure I didn't make a mistake. After that I placed the tablecloth on the table, the ribbons and the crown of the birthday king, which this month was Ian. When everything was ready, Zoe arrived with the cake and the children began to arrive one by one very excited.

Les tomamos fotos a sus niños por petición de sus padres y como siempre, con nuestro toque dejamos que fueran ellos mismos en sus poses. Las fotos se iban tomando a medida que llegaban los niños, ellos estaban muy entusiasmados porque era su primer compartir.
A mi me encanta hacer estos festejos porque es una forma de sacar a los niños de la rutina, hacer que se diviertan y se conozcan mejor entre ellos.
En Anelmi's buscamos ser un lugar seguro, de recreación, de entretenimiento, de alegría para nuestros estudiantes y siempre buscamos cosas nuevas que hacer para lograr esto.
We took pictures of their children at their parents' request and as always, with our touch we let them be themselves in their poses. The pictures were taken as the children arrived, they were very excited because it was their first time sharing.
I love doing these celebrations because it's a way to get the kids out of the routine, make them have fun and get to know each other better.
At Anelmi's we strive to be a safe place, a place of recreation, entertainment and joy for our students and we are always looking for new things to do to achieve this.

Decidimos hacer unos juegos y sortear unas chupetas, les enseñé el juego del vaso y les encantó. El juego consta en tocar las partes del cuerpo que va indicando el recreador y cuando griten ''vaso'' tomar el vaso antes que la persona que tienes en frente.
Es un juego de mucha rapidez y los niños lo dieron todo.
A Jorge principalmente, le encantó y después de ese día en cada reunión pide el juego porque dice que lo jugará hasta ganarlo.
Después de jugar un rato, repartir los refrigerios que llevaron para compartir era turno de cantar cumpleaños.
We decided to play some games and raffle some lollipops, I taught them the glass game and they loved it. The game consists of touching the parts of the body indicated by the recreator and when they shout ''glass'' take the glass before the person in front of you.
It is a very fast game and the children gave it their all.
Jorge mainly loved it and after that day he asks for the game in every meeting because he says he will play it until he wins.
After playing for a while, distributing the snacks they brought to share, it was time to sing birthdays.
Nos reunimos alrededor de la mesa y la torta para cantar el cumpleaños a Ian y Kamille. A pesar de que eran varios cumpleañeros solo pudieron asistir ellos dos ya que el resto tenía diferentes obligaciones ese día y se les hacía imposible llegar.
La mamá de Kamille estaba súper contenta y agradecida por la celebración de su cumpleaños porque no se lo esperaban, incluso me mencionó que le había contado al papá y también estaba muy contento.
Cantamos con alegría el cumpleaños y los niños emocionados soplaron las velitas.
We gathered around the table and cake to sing birthday to Ian and Kamille. Even though there were several birthday boys and girls, only the two of them were able to attend because the rest had different obligations that day and it was impossible for them to get there.
Kamille's mom was super happy and thankful for the birthday celebration because they were not expecting it, she even mentioned to me that she had told her dad about it and he was also very happy.
We joyfully sang the birthday song and the children excitedly blew out the candles.

Mientras esperamos que retiraran a los niños mi equipo fiel de mamis comenzó a bailar y disfrutar también la fiesta y aprovechamos de tomarnos algunas fotos con los niños y nosotras.
Mis representantes son las mejores, siempre están dispuestas a ayudar, a apoyar la academia y eso lo valoro mucho.
Ese día me ayudaron a repartir todo el refrigerio, a grabar y al final, me ayudaron a recoger todo el desastre a mi solo me tocó limpiar.
Cuando todos se fueron limpié la academia con cepillo y swaper y quedó tan limpio que nadie creería que algo había pasado ahí.
Disfrutamos mucho y decidí que estas actividades las haré de forma más continua.

While we waited for the children to be picked up, my loyal team of moms began to dance and enjoy the party and we took the opportunity to take some pictures with the children and ourselves.
My representatives are the best, they are always willing to help, to support the academy and I value that very much.
That day they helped me to distribute all the refreshments, to record and at the end, they helped me to pick up all the mess, I was the only one who had to clean up.
When everyone left I cleaned the academy with brush and swaper and it was so clean that no one would believe that anything had happened there.
We really enjoyed it and I decided that I will do these activities on a more continuous basis.
