Hace unos meses fuimos invitados a realizar una presentación en una pasarela de modelaje de una academia de aquí de la ciudad y decidimos ir con ambos grupos de ballet, en ese momento aún tenía abiertas las dos sedes así que no quería dejar por fuera a ningún grupo.
La presentación sería en el centro comercial Costa Mall, cerca de la feria de comida. Llegamos temprano para marcar espacios y repartir los tutús que usarían las niñas pues no los habían podido entregar antes.
Las niñas estaban emocionadas porque para muchas era el primer baile que realizaban y habían muchas niñas pequeñas, nos daba un poco de temor que no bailaran pero debíamos confiar en sus instintos.

A few months ago we were invited to make a presentation at a modeling runway of an academy here in the city and we decided to go with both ballet groups, at that time I still had both venues open so I did not want to leave out any group.
The presentation would be at the Costa Mall, near the food fair. We arrived early to mark spaces and hand out the tutus that the girls would wear since they had not been able to deliver them before.
The girls were excited because for many of them it was their first dance and there were many little girls, we were a little afraid that they would not dance but we had to trust their instincts.
Después de esperar un rato al resto de las niñas nos dieron indicaciones para cambiarnos y esperar a que empezara el show.
Nos fuimos a un baño y ahí todas las niñas se cambiaron, hicimos nuestra respectiva oración y regresamos con todas a donde estaba la tarima.
Mientras esperábamos detrás del escenario, en tarima estaba la directora de la academia de modelaje dando apertura al show. Después de sus palabras las modelos salieron a escena con una pasarela bastante dinámica, me gustó mucho. El público estaba ahí casi por las niñas, veía muchos rostros conocidos de representantes y familiares.
Todos querían apoyar a las niñas en su primera presentación. Nosotras nos tomábamos fotos tras camerinos.
After waiting a while for the rest of the girls we were given directions to change and wait for the show to start.
We went to a bathroom and there all the girls changed, we did our respective prayer and returned with everyone to where the stage was.
While we were waiting behind the stage, the director of the modeling academy was on stage opening the show. After her words the models came on stage with a very dynamic catwalk, I liked it very much. The audience was there almost for the girls, I saw many familiar faces of representatives and family members.
Everyone wanted to support the girls in their first presentation. We were taking pictures backstage.

Después de varios cambios de ropa era tiempo de que nuestras niñas bailaran.
Les desee lo mejor, les di todos mis ánimos y las empujé al escenario.
A pesar de sus nervios lo hicieron muy bien, 3 niñas se quedaron paradas sin bailar a causa del pánico escénico, una de ellas se paralizó y el resto al verla también se paralizó, pero para nuestra suerte sus compañeras las ayudaron y pudieron terminar el baile.
After several outfit changes it was time for our girls to dance.
I wished them well, gave them all my encouragement and pushed them on stage.
Despite their nerves they did very well, 3 girls were left standing without dancing because of stage fright, one of them froze and the rest of them also froze when they saw her, but luckily their partners helped them and they were able to finish the dance.

Después de la presentación a una niña le regalaron flores, esto me pareció espectacular así que le tomé unas cuantas fotos para hacer una publicación unos días después.
El acto de regalar flores después de un baile es un gesto muy hermoso que expresa admiración, orgullo y aprecio por el talento del bailarín.
La presentación terminó bastante bien, los padres felices y los organizadores del evento también.
Terminamos otra artística misión con éxito, esperando tener muchas más así.

After the performance a little girl was given flowers, I thought this was spectacular so I took a few pictures of her to publish a few days later.
The act of giving flowers after a dance is a very beautiful gesture that expresses admiration, pride and appreciation for the dancer's talent.
The performance ended quite well, the parents were happy and so were the organizers of the event.
We finished another successful artistic mission, hoping to have many more like this.
