With about 70 development log sections in 90 days and some with many many words, it can be hard to keep track with the moving ideas, content, and deployments!
Below is a bit of what was deployed, with most of them live in production, and some few items being tested.
We did not share much of what is being in development, or fixes, or mobile upgrades.We have A LOT to share hopefully later this week!
Note that the last 21 official Aramea shares are available on Starbase Market.Pilots did not notice them yet, so hurry if you want to get them!

June
- (organic distribution) Added the Captains Program page
- (organic distribution) Added the "warp point system": ability for our members to add entry points to EXODE in their articles and track their success
- (organic distribution) Added "portal" public subpages and presentation ( such as here )
- (all distribution) Refined our activity pipeline and developed our own way (non-cookie, never shared or sold to third party, no vendor, no partner) of anonymously checking and logging actions.
- Also checked for a time with plausible analytics (non-cookie) that our results were viable.
- Reworked website presentation.
- Added some features such as "copy to clipboard" (for passwords).
- Added Aramea as auto-picked launch station, and removed other stations.
- HIVE auto: Reworked how to login and use shop with Email or ETH Account and have the related HIVE account created and managed in the background.
- (gameplay) Added procedural food properties, such as "Comforting", "Restorative", and their game effects and display.
- (gameplay) New food display with more properties shown in a "radar" format.
- (gameplay) Added numerous buffs and debuffs.
- (gameplay) Updated Away Teams presentation and dice rolls.
- (gameplay) Designed the new "Survive then Make Progress" system (for Away Teams)
- (gameplay) Reworked the "Rest & Contribute" system (for Colony Teams)
- (documentation) Reworked wiki articles and added articles about food mechanics, away team mechanics and colonization.
July
- Created and deployed the new DIRECT EVACUATION game mode: this simplifies first time user experience (FTUE) with a choice between two game modes:
"RPG Mode" keeps all game scenes, "Direct Evacuation" scans your account for starters, proposes them, then autoloads its crew cards, autovalidates crew review, and autodocks you to space station. Direct Evacuation uses several new inserted screens such as the initial mode pick, "Choose your Origin" and "Choose your Station" and their help text.
- Added small tutorial/tooltips for Direct Evacuation.
- Reworked Aramea page during evacuation.
- Implemented Aramea public page.
- Reworked how Evacuation interacts with Aramea content on server. (fuel and passengers)
- (gameplay) Improved action presentation during Evacuation.
- (all distribution) Created our new explanatory video:
- (all distribution) Repeatedly reworked website during the month, for A/B Testing and better clicks on our explanatory content.
- New marketing content & pictures. (you have them on our discord)
- Started work on synchronized marketplace (work still ongoing in August)
- (gameplay) made Away Teams situation report more consistent, more readable, and with more content.
- Started distribution, experimenting with visitors from crypto communities and game communities.
Our distribution experiment lasted two weeks.
It took more time than planned: we tracked several sources and presentation then we did some A/B Testing on our own.
August
- (gameplay) Away Teams now have an interactive inventory for what they gather during missions.
- (gameplay) Refined Away Teams secondary situations (ambushes triggers, values), by refining how Stealth, Communication is used, for better utility spread among cards and simplifying UI/content for players.
- (gameplay) Reworking the Next Day pipeline with new ideas to allow interactions with Away Teams, with a series of Direct Instructions allowed if Comms are active (such as the "COME BACK" order).
- New transactions ("Launch Next Day")
- (gameplay) Released the Colony Report and added it to the Next Day pipeline, after numerous fixes required to the food & sleep system.
- (gameplay) Reworked action systems such as "Next Citizen" to act.
- (organic distribution) Released our first blockchain contract to Opensea !
- Exhibited at NFTOPIA event.
- (utility) Deployed Aramea Trading and generated tradable share packs for all owners.
They will be estimated every Saturday (Saturday is becoming Station Saturday) to determine the new board.
August, especially early August, was mostly impacted by adjusting A/B Testing, and making progress on the synchronized marketplace update.
Our summer roadmap, initially presented in mid July, was a bit moved up to make space for the distribution test (which was made earlier than planned).
