La canción El Reloj me llamo mucho la atención por su letra ya que aunque existen versiones del cual fue escrita es muy llamativa . Se observan dos versiones: La primera es que cuando recibió una mala noticia sobre el estado de salud de su pareja se inspiró en su vivencia propia para escribirla. Y la segunda versión fue que Roberto Cantoral escribió el Reloj en Washington D.C inspirada a una mujer que formaba parte del espectáculo del grupo Los Tres Mosqueteros.
