Hello friends of this beautiful community 😊, a few days ago it was my birthday and, even though I don’t have many people to celebrate or share it with, it’s not because I’m a bad person — it’s because I moved to Colombia. Out of all the people I interact with daily, I’ve only managed to form a small group of friends at the store where I work 🛍️.
Hola amigos de esta hermosa comunidad 😊, hace unos días fue mi cumpleaños y, aunque no tengo muchas personas con quienes celebrarlo o compartirlo, no es porque sea una mala persona, sino porque me vine a vivir a Colombia. De todas las personas con las que trato a diario, solo logré formar un pequeño grupo de amistades en la tienda donde trabajo 🛍️.

But despite everything, this makes me very happy 😄 because, my friends, it’s not the quantity that counts but the quality of the people from whom you receive true support. I was happy to have celebrated this day, as it was also my mom’s birthday 🎂 and we sang “Happy Birthday” together. I really enjoyed this little gathering we had at home 🏡. I also believe that, despite our differences, there’s always someone we can rely on.
Pero esto, a pesar de todo, me hace muy feliz 😄 porque, amigos, no es la cantidad lo que cuenta, sino la calidad de las personas de quienes recibimos ese gran apoyo. Me sentí feliz de haber celebrado este día, ya que también era el cumpleaños de mi mamá 🎂 y juntos cantamos "Cumpleaños feliz". Disfruté muchísimo de esta pequeña reunión que hicimos en casa 🏡. También creo que, a pesar de nuestras diferencias, siempre hay alguien en quien podemos confiar.

On this occasion, I feel very grateful for the family I have 👨👩👧👦. My mom, who now lives with me, helps me all the time at home with the kids 👶. And my wife, with much love, decorated the living room with balloons 🎈. When I woke up, I found that beautiful surprise. Well friends, I’ll say goodbye until another post. That’s all for tonight. En esta oportunidad, me siento muy agradecido por la familia que tengo 👨👩👧👦. Mi mamá, quien ahora vive conmigo, me ayuda todo el tiempo en casa con los niños 👶. Y mi esposa, con mucho cariño, decoró la sala con globos 🎈. Cuando me desperté, me encontré con esa hermosa sorpresa. Bueno amigos, me despido hasta otro post.
