Being a mother is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful blessings in a woman's life. It is a responsibility that shapes you, leads you to take on different roles, innovate, and put aside many fears in an era where time seems to be speeding up and the hours are short. Dividing our time between motherhood and life's responsibilities sometimes becomes a challenge for a mother who, without realizing it, prepares herself for anything and everything. It is these lessons of motherhood that make us fortified walls in the midst of so many storms, challenges in which thinking about ourselves takes a back seat because our priority is that beautiful treasure called children. When we become mothers, we are like a clay pot, fresh, fragile, temporary in life, even without knowing our functionality, the quality of our being. Every pot needs to be fired effectively to be ready and desirable. In motherhood, once we begin to feel the heat of trials, we are strengthened like those pots. Some trials are so intense that we seem to break, a break that few see in a mother, only the craftsman of that pot, that God who strengthens us in every moment. Fire affirms us, because not everything in motherhood is rosy. There are tears, fears, loneliness, and cries from the soul that a mother rarely shares. Each lesson of motherhood changes us, awakening in each phase an intense love that beautifies not only our interior but extends to each member of our family.
Ser madre es sin duda una de las bendiciones más hermosas en la vida de una mujer. Una responsabilidad que te moldea, te lleva a ejercer distintos roles, innovar, dejando a un lado muchos temores en una época donde el tiempo parece acelerado y las horas son cortas. Distribuir nuestro tiempo entre la maternidad y las responsabilidades de la vida a veces se vuelve un desafío para una madre que sin darse cuenta se prepara para todo terreno. Son esas lecciones de la maternidad que nos hacen muros fortificados en medio de tantas tormentas, desafíos en los que pensar en nosotras mismas pasa a un segundo plano, porque nuestra prioridad es ese tesoro hermoso llamado hijos. Cuando nos convertimos en madres, somos como una vasija de barro, fresca, frágil, temporal en la vida, aun sin conocer nuestra funcionalidad, la calidad de nuestro ser. Toda vasija de barro necesita una cocción eficaz para estar lista, deseable, en la maternidad una vez que empezamos a sentir el calor de las pruebas, nos fortalecemos como esas vasijas, algunas pruebas son tan intensas que parecemos quebrarnos, una ruptura que pocos llegan a ver en una madre solo el artesano de aquella vasija, ese Dios que nos fortalece en cada momento, el fuego nos afirma, porque no todo en la maternidad tiene color rosa, hay lágrimas, temores, soledad y gritos del alma que pocas veces una madre comparte. Cada lección de la maternidad nos cambia, despertando en cada fase un intenso amor que embellece, no solo nuestro interior, se extiende a cada miembro de nuestra familia.

Someone asked me what being an all-around mother means to me. The discussion was interesting, and the answers were simple, although it was a brief conversation. For me, being an all-around mother goes beyond the superficiality of words; it is not an optional path. Life prepares us to face challenges in every area as we progress in our motherhood. The years don't stop. Each challenge leads us to be multifaceted, innovative, a machine that constantly builds solutions. That same person asked me if I was that kind of mother; my answer was simple. Looking back at my beginnings in motherhood, those first steps, I remember having many fears of failing as a mother. Over time, those fears were put away in a trunk. My self-confidence and faith helped me win every battle in different areas, bringing out qualities of my being that were hidden, talents, creative ideas. A mother is not perfect; she makes mistakes. However, in the areas of life, she is astute, wise, multifaceted, and innovative. Every mother builds her own motherhood.
Una persona me pregunto que es para mi ser una madre a todo terreno, el debate fue interesante, las respuestas simples, aunque fue una conversación breve para mi ser una madre a todo terreno va más allá de la superficialidad de las palabras, no es un camino opcional la vida nos prepara para enfrentar desafíos en cada terreno a medida que avanzamos en nuestra maternidad. Los años no se detienen, cada desafío nos lleva a ser multifacéticas, innovadoras, una máquina que constantemente construye soluciones. Esa misma persona me preguntó si yo era ese tipo de madre; mi respuesta fue sencilla. Mirando hacia mi principio en la maternidad esos primeros pasos, recuerdo tenía muchos temores de fracasar como madre, con el tiempo esos temores pasaron a un baúl, la confianza en mí misma y la fe me ayudaron a ganar cada batalla en los diferentes terrenos sacando cualidades de mi ser que estaban escondidas, talentos, ideas creativas. Una madre no es perfecta, comete errores, sin embargo, en los terrenos de la vida ella es astuta, sabia, multifacetica, innovadora. Cada madre construye su propia maternidad.
