photo is mine
My name is Taiwo Elizabeth, and I’ve been on the Hive blockchain for close to two months now. Joining this platform has been such a beautiful journey for me. I didn’t even know a place like Hive existed until someone close introduced me, and ever since I’ve been here, I’ve been learning and growing everyday.
This is my first time posting in the Korean Village Community, and I honestly feel excited to be here. I’ve been seeing lovely posts here, and I love the peaceful and respectful vibe this community gives. That’s why I decided to introduce myself and start being active here.
I was born and brought up in Lagos, Nigeria, and I still live here. I come from a very humble and close family. I’m the last born of the family (I know some people call us spoiled 😅 but it’s not true oh! Lol. Being the last child comes with a lot of love but also a lot of expectations. But I’m grateful for my family, they are my biggest support system.
Right now, I’m still a student at Yaba College of Technology (Yabatech) where I’m pushing hard to finish my education well. I won’t lie, combining school with work and still trying to be consistent on Hive is not easy at all, but I’m doing my best. I know there’s light at the end of the tunnel.
Aside school, I also work with Universal Insurance PLC. It’s a big challenge juggling both responsibilities, but I’ve learnt how to manage my time better. Working in insurance is not something I planned, but it’s helping me grow professionally and also teaching me more about business, life, and people.
One of the things I love most is writing and sharing my thoughts. I don’t claim to be perfect, but I like putting my experiences into words. That’s one of the things that made me fall in love with Hive. It gives people like me the space to express ourselves, learn from others, and also earn from it 'which is a big bonus to be honest 😄
I hope to use my time here in the Korean Village Community to connect with more people from different backgrounds, cultures, and ideas. I’ve always had a strong interest in Korean culture, and though I don’t know the language yet, I’m open to learning bit by bit through this community. From the food, music, history, and fashion, there’s just something unique about Korean culture that fascinates me. And what better place to learn than here?

So once again, thank you for having me. I’m really happy to be part of this lovely community, and I’m looking forward to making new friends, reading your stories, and also sharing mine as time goes on.
Please feel free to drop your greetings, tips, corrections, or anything you think I can learn from. I’m still new to Hive generally, and I believe we grow faster when we’re not too shy to ask for help.
Thanks for reading this long post 😅
God bless you all 💜
