My sister’s birthday is just around the corner, and I thought of writing this down before the day comes. The truth is, I am not always good at remembering birthdays, and sometimes the day just flies by before I get a chance to put something up. So instead of waiting and risking forgetting again, let me start the celebration here. If I get the chance that day, I may also post, but right now my heart feels full and I want to share.
My sister is more than just a sibling to me. She has always been like a second mother in my life. The way she cares, corrects, advises, and even scolds at times, makes me realize how blessed I am to have her. She carries herself with so much kindness, and I have never seen her put herself first before others. She is one of those people who will go out of their way just to make you comfortable.
One thing I admire the most about her is her heart. She is very kind and always ready to help. No matter what you are going through, she finds a way to encourage you and make you see the good side of life. Her words have lifted me many times when I felt down. She has this way of bringing out the best in people, even when they don’t see it in themselves. Honestly, I can say she has been one of the strongest influences in my life, shaping the way I see things today.
She is also very spiritual. I respect how much she values God and faith. Watching her live her life with so much belief and trust has helped me grow in my own way too. She never forces it on anyone, but her life is an example. She inspires me without even knowing it, and I thank God every day for giving me a sister like her.
Sometimes, I sit and think about the kind of bond we share. It goes beyond blood. She is like a mother, a sister, and even a friend. I know I can talk to her about anything without fear of judgment, and that alone is rare to find. Her birthday coming up reminds me that I don’t have to wait for just one day to celebrate her. She deserves to be celebrated every single day because of the light she carries.
So, as her day draws near, I want to say how grateful I am for her life. May this new year bring her joy, peace, and more blessings than she can imagine. She deserves the best and nothing less.
Happy birthday in advance to my amazing sister
