Not many people here know, but I recently reached a major milestone—I graduated from college! It still feels surreal to say that. After years of lectures, exams, late-night cramming, group projects, and countless cups of coffee, I finally walked across the stage and received my diploma. It was a culmination of everything I’ve worked so hard for, not just in college but throughout my entire school life.
Graduation day itself felt like a blur. I remember waking up that morning with a mix of nerves and excitement, carefully putting on my toga, and making sure my cap was secure. Seeing all my classmates dressed in the same uniform of black robes gave me goosebumps—it was as if we were all warriors who had just finished the same battle, ready to celebrate the victory together. The moment I heard my name being called and stepped up the stage, I felt a rush of pride and gratitude. In that instant, all the hardships and struggles became worth it.
Of course, my family was there, cheering me on, and their smiles were enough to make me emotional. They’ve been my backbone all these years, supporting me through the ups and downs. Looking at them from the stage reminded me that this achievement wasn’t mine alone—it was ours.
Now that the graduation high has settled, I’m currently on a gap year. I decided to take a pause and give myself time to breathe, reflect, and figure out what’s next for me. It’s both exciting and a little scary not knowing exactly what direction I’ll take, but I believe this season of slowing down will give me clarity.
Graduating college was the end of one chapter, but it’s also the beginning of another. I don’t have all the answers yet, but for now, I’m simply grateful to have made it this far.
