Lately, I’ve been putting more thought into my wellness goals, and one of the steps I took was joining a yoga class at Dawata Wellness with my friend @jane911x. It was actually a private class arranged for their office, which made the experience even more special since we had the whole space to ourselves.
Since I don’t have my own yoga mat yet, I was worried about how I could join. Thankfully, Dawata offers mats for rent at just 75 pesos. That small convenience really helped, and it made me realize I don’t have to wait to start my wellness journey until I have all the gear. Sometimes, it’s better to just show up and try.
The place itself immediately gave me calm and creative vibes. One of my favorite parts of the studio was this stunning wall design. From afar, it looked like colorful threads or yarns lined up, but as I came closer, I discovered they were actually yoga mats arranged beautifully on the wall. It was such a clever and artistic detail that gave the studio so much personality.
Before heading upstairs, we were greeted by a small, quirky figurine at the entrance. It almost felt like a friendly guardian welcoming us into a space of peace and mindfulness. And here’s the most fun part—there’s a “secret door” that leads to the private yoga studio. Pushing it open felt like stepping into a hidden sanctuary, reserved just for those moments of practice.
The class itself reminded me of why I want to focus more on my wellness this year. It wasn’t just about physical poses, but also about being present, breathing properly, and appreciating the little things around me. Walking out of Dawata, I felt lighter and more inspired.
This visit gave me a push to continue exploring wellness in small but meaningful ways. Whether it’s renting a mat, attending a class with friends, or finding joy in a creative wall design, it’s all part of creating balance and happiness in my life.
