It is a crime that people are not taken seriously by doctors anymore. They don't generally want to treat the whole person, but rather just part and sometimes not too well.
I went to a doctor some years ago for arthritis. During the consult, it became apparent to me that she just didn't like me. She said she couldn't see anything wrong (no matter that my finger joints are enlarged, bent and crooked, as well as my toes), and finally after a lower back X-ray, admitted I had arthritis in my lower back....duh! anyway, I left and never went back.
I hope this new doc helps you find the relief that you seek. It sounds like he/she is more open to actually treating you than the others were.
