On a bit of an overcast morning we went for a walk on the lovely beach at Sandbanks, Poole, UK. The car parking was literally next to the beach and at this time of the year it is dog friendly. The sky was nice and blue but unfortunately, it didn't stay like that for long.
The pooch loves the sea. He was back and forth having a paddle. He didn't bother having a swim this time.
I do enjoy visiting the beach when there's ominous looking clouds overhead.
The breezy weather was perfect for windsurfing. We did get caught up in a rain shower but it didn’t last long. It was still relatively warm, though.
Later on, we went and sat watching the ferry come in. Sandbanks Chain Ferry is a quick way of visiting Studland on the Isle of Purbeck. It costs £5 each way, but it saves you a longish car trip there and back.
Thank you to @untilwelearn and the team for running the contest.
