After a long wait, and some rain, more fly agerics finally came through in an abundance. Most of them were growing down the side of the road. Unfortunately, some had already been damaged. They usually keep coming through until October, so plenty of time to see more.
I wish I had placed my foot next to this for a size comparison. The photo doesn't capture how big the fungi was.
There were a few more different types as well as the fly agerics.
I use Google lens to determine what the fungi are called. Unfortunately, a lot of them look very similar, so it comes up with different names, so I'm none the wiser. I think these look like tiny carrot sticks sticking out of the earth.
