I started my morning walk overlooking the football pitch next to the nature reserve. It was slightly overcast today.

I've walked around the nature reserve many times, but now that we are in autumn, the colours against the brooding sky made it look totally different.

I followed the path around to do a circular walk.

I like the red hawthorn berries next to the yellow lichen on the branches.

Civilisation wasn't too far as every fifteen minutes the silence was disrupted with the sound of the trains.

I'd normally shy away from taking photos of the white metal goalposts, but I liked the look of them next to the green grass and orange autumn colours.

I was nearly back to the beginning of my walk at the top where the rugby pitch is. It is still good to get free car parking. It really does encourage people to use the facilities.
Thank you to @unitedwelearn for running the contest.
