
It has been raining again and the temperature has dropped significantly. I haven't been too far as it's been too cold and windy.


I do like seeing the raindrops and the vibrant colours of the wet leaves.


You can tell when Autumn is here when you see lots of puddles with leaves in them. I always think they look really pretty and quite artistic.

There were lots of shiny conkers from the horse chestnut tree on the wet ground. They have come out of their green, spiky shell. As children we used to play "conkers", putting a hole in them and threading string through them and using it to hit your opponent's conker until one breaks. I think it's banned in schools now as it's deemed too dangerous. There's nothing like a good rap on your knuckles by a conker in my book!

At the end of the day the sun goes down creating some colourful reflections on the village pond.
