While I'm visiting a friend in the southwest of England for my #wednesdaywalk initiated by @tattoodjay, we took the pooch for a walk before the rain came.
Walking through the fields it reminded me of Sting's song the "Fields of Barley". It was a pity the electricity pylons ruined the scene.
We stopped halfway around to pick some blackberries. There has been a bumper crop this year with all the sunny days we've had. My friend is going to make an apple crumble like the good old days!
The dark clouds looked as though we were in for a good storm but after a bit of rain it blew over.
Our walk was cut short as the pooch started limping. I think he aggravated a pulled muscle. By the time we returned to the car he was a lot better.
