According to what I have been able to gather so far, samhagout had been on hive for about two years. I got to know about samhagout by @samostically a couple of months ago given that I was and still am a newbie on hive.
The first engagement of the samhagout I took part in was the one where @samostically chose a topic relating to nursery rhymes. A lot of people recited a lot of rhymes and a lot of corrections were done to all the nonsense we had been singing in the name of rhymes in the past.

Another hangout I enjoyed but could not really take part in was the one where we were asked to talk about our favourite frontends. It was that weekend I got to know that there are many frontends to which a user can access his or her hive account. I noted some and promised myself to try them out soon.
The two weekends I came all out was the weekends we discussed something related to cheating partner and how to treat them, that weekend, I remember @ fashtioluwani and @samostically himself coming under my comments for the conclusion of my story and the weekend when we discussed having our children marry a financially balanced partner. I do not want my children to suffer like me, so I advised them to marry someone on an average level with a stable income.

The owanbe Saturday tells us what our yard people plan to do on Saturdays. It was in one such that I reported my boss who made me miss out on our school's July party rice. I almost regret my actions but my family, people like @ozd and the likes made me understand that I did just well. My shoulder pad was so high that I felt like Tinubu for that weekend.
I have made quite a number of friends on the hangout and I usually look forward to their input every weekend. Some of them are @ozd, @beckyroyal @rukkie, @fashtioluwani, @justfavour and many more. I hope to meet these people hopefully by next year when the physical hive naija hangout will be hosted.
Samhagout like the weekend engagement of weekend experience community gives us an opportunity to be ourselves among our people without being afraid of being understood, using a free language where we are likely understood without having to explain tire. Everyone understood when @justfavour commented ‘oble’ and when another user said ‘Pele e’ we I'll understand that it's just a cruise. Tell me a sense of belonging that could be more than that.
I hope to join the interaction on discord soon so I will be able to enjoy a good conversation with my yard people hive alone. Samhagout has become a household name that makes my weekend. I look forward to the engagement every weekend no matter how busy I may be. Even when it seems as if I am inactive, I am always there reading comments and trusting my Naija people, dem no dey disappoint.
