Good day everyone, welcome to my blog. It's my first time posting on the hive students connect blog and I hope to write here often from now on.
The memorable experiences I had in school are many but one of them stands out the most, it's an experience I am willing to tell my grandchildren about when my children have them in the future.
Each time I recall this experience, the lesson that comes to my mind is pride comes before a fall. We have this young brilliant lecturer who was newly employed by the institution.
The story we meet on campus was that this young lecturer was a photographer on the campus before he got the chance to assistant some lecturer teach their part time classes and from there he got retained when the state was employing
After being officially employed, he was assigned to take us to one of our general courses, the normal lecture time was supposed to be from twelve to one in the afternoon but he said he does not like to teach in the afternoon so he brought the lecture to seven in the morning.
He was always punctual to class and would never allow any student to enter into the hall once he got in so all students were usually in a serious rush to get into the lecture hall before him.
On that particular day, vehicles were difficult to find because it was the local market day so we decided to trek down to school. Though it's just like a twenty minute trek but would have been faster with a bus.
As we were trekking down, we saw our lecturer's car drive past us then we all began to run like mad people because he had promised us a test. On getting to a check point at the front we saw that the car had been parked so we used that grace to run more.
On getting to the lecture hall, we met other students sitting waiting for him then we saw him jogging in along with other students trying to make their way into the lecture. His car was impounded because he had some bags of rice in his trunk which happens to be contraband because borders was closed then
One of the students we ran together made a joke with it and the whole class erupted with laughter. The guy said oga ran in looking like someone from another planet from the fear of losing his car and his job on the same day.
