But regardless of this fact, we should never consider losing hope as an option. The ways of man and the ways of God are never the same, and that is why we may never fully understand Him. What God expects from us is absolute dependence and trust in Him. ‎ ‎What we must never fail to understand is that our wellbeing is in God's interest. Our parents may claim to love us, or our spouse, but there is no love that can be compared to the love of God for us. ‎ ‎‭Zechariah 2:8 - For thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye. ‎ ‎We should not let anything give us a reason to fret or be bothered. Today may not be looking great or going the way we expect, but God assures us that there will be joy in the morning. We should come to the point where both in good times and bad times, we should give thanks God [1 Thessalonians 5:18]. The reason why we give God thanks even in bad situations is because they are not permanent and we are assured that something great is coming our way. ‎
