https://youtu.be/W7aCiFnnYNQ?si=oAEPIeK0AEm1Br5a Obeying God's commandments is something that we should do with the whole of our hearts. There's no record of anyone in the bible that walked with God and walked in accordance to His will that regretted it. God delights in the obedience of His children. When we love God, obeying His Word begins to be our concern. It is true that it may not be easy all the time. We may see people around us who don't even care about the Will of God and yet it may seem that all is well with them. But it is only momentary. When we obey God's will there's an assurance that everything will definitely work out for our good. Taking Joseph as a case study. He was tempted by His master's wife but he vehemently refused to give into her demands. He put the Will of God into consideration. He replied his master's wife that he can't do such wickedness in the sight of God. He knew it wasn't God's will for him to lay with another woman's wife, and so he declined. But he ended up in prison because of his morality and fear of God. At that point it seemed like an unfair thing to happen to him. It looked like the reverse of what should have happened to him for deciding to follow God's will. That's how it may look for some of us. Deciding not to compromise like in places of work or in school or one place or the other may get us in more trouble than good. But eventually, it will all turn around for our good. That's what later happened in the case of Joseph. God prepared great things ahead of Him for not putting aside the will of God. Obeying God's will is never a waste if time, it's worth it.
