Topic Review: Are we financially responsible to other people?

We shouldn't be self-centered or think it is all about ourselves. The mindset of all man for himself is one of the major reasons why we are not moving forward. ‎ ‎Our hearts should be moved when we see people in need and we have the financial capacity to render help to them.  We are privileged to be in the position we are so that people around us can benefit from us. We are blessed so that we can be means of blessing to others also. ‎ ‎Matthew 5:42 ‎“Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.” ‎ ‎It is not right to hide our resources from others. Giving to the poor is something we should see as a duty which needs to be carried out. It is something that we should do willingly with the whole of our hearts. It should be a lifestyle of the believers. It should be one of the things that the people of the world identify us as. ‎ ‎Jesus told us in Luke 6:35 that even if they happen to be our enemy we should not refrain from doing them good and rendering help to them if they request it. He even went further to say that we shouldn't expect a payback after we have given out. This is how we are expected to live as christians. Whenever we see or brother or sister in need it is an opportunity to give that we shouldn't disregard. ‎ ‎
