Topic Review: Does God want all things including evil to Happen?

When we walk closely with God and understand the person of Him we realize that everything about God is holy. The sight of evil is not something that is pleasing to God. The last thing that God would want for His people is for evil to befall them. ‎ ‎Man is God's most priced possession. God always had good plans for us even before He formed us. It's no wonder He said in Jeremiah 29:11 God said He knows the thought He has for us, good thoughts only and not evil. John 3 vs 16 informs us of just how much God loves us and the sacrifice He was willing to make for the sake of mankind. If God has so much love for us to move Him into making such a great sacrifice why then would He desire for evil to befall us? ‎ ‎Evil is not the in the agenda of God. On the contrary, God wants that which is good for us and not evil. One of the things the enemy does is to fill our minds with obnoxious thoughts. We can't have a world free of evil, but we can hold on to God to shield us from it and the assurance that Christ gave us to be able to overcome tribulations when they arise.
