There are a lot of homes in our world today that is void of peace. As a parent one of the last thing that they should let there children experience in the home is any display of violence. This has a great potential of affecting the child. It is normal for couples to have misunderstandings every now and then. There could be times where parents can get off the wrong foot. There is no family that does not experience this because no home is perfect. But this is not enough justification to allow the situation result to violence. Violence is never the way out. It only amplifies things and make it worse.
Proverbs 17:1 Better is a dry morsel, and quietness therewith, Than an house full of sacrifices with strife.
One thing that should never fail to abound in a home is love. Love births forth patience. When there is patience, not just the ability to await someone or something to happen but also being tolerable towards someone there will be no room for strife to exist in their midst. Whatever the case we should never choose violence over peace.
