Topic Review: What is the proper way to pray?

We can be praying the wrong way for long but yet not receive answers because we are not praying right. As believers, there is a way we are meant to pray. We don't pray according to our discretion but according to how God wants us to pray. ‎ ‎‭James 4:3 - Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. ‎ ‎This passage is trying to tell us that we can pray wrongly. If we don't pray the right way we may end up missing it. For anything thing we come to ask God for we should first of all not entertain any form of doubt in our hearts. We must have faith in who we are coming before. It is impossible to receive from God if you don't believe in Him. ‎ ‎Another thing to put in mind is that whatever we are asking God for it should be in accordance to His Will. It should not be for our selfish desires. God's will is far more important than our desires. Most times if our desires does not align with God's will it could lead to destruction and out of the love God has for us we won't let this happen.
