Mi nombre es Yusselys Pérez Pérez, tengo 15 años y vivo en La Habana, Cuba.

Hace un tiempo he visto a mi papá muy emocionado publicando en esta plataforma y me he sentido muy atraída por ella, debido a que mi papá ha creado muchas nuevas amistades de varios países gracias a su interacción con #hive, lo que me motivó a preguntarle si yo también podía formar parte de la comunidad y de hecho ¡aquí estoy!

Bueno primero quiero contarles quien soy:

Nací en la Ciudad de La Habana, Cuba, en el mismo hospital donde nacieron mis padres y hermana menor (jeje), actualmente vivo en el reparto Mantilla en el municipio arroyo naranjo, mi infancia y primera adolescencia ha estado sometida a las carencias y dificultades materiales propias del país donde vivo, pero eso no ha sido un impedimento para ser feliz y desarrollarme física e intelectualmente. Mi familia está conformada por mis padres, hermanita menor, y yo, somos una familia muy unida y con la ayuda de nuestros abuelos y demás familiares, hemos aprendido a salir adelante cuando las dificultades hacen la vida un poco difícil, mis padres me quieren mucho y siempre me han apoyado en mis deseos de desarrollarme física y culturalmente, siempre me brindan buenos consejos que me han permitido, a pesar de ser tan joven, alcanzar muy buenos resultados en las diferentes esferas de mi vida, tengo el placer te tener a mi bisabuela por parte de madre quien tiene 95 años y a la que quiero como si fuera mi mamá, porque es muy buena y atenta conmigo y con mi hermanita, también tengo 2 mascotas maravillosas mi perrito “Battle” y mi otro perrito “Togo”, los que tienen temperamentos muy diferentes, Battle es más fiero y guardián y Togo es más juguetón y le hace la vida imposible al pobre Battle que es más viejito y refunfuñón, pero ambos se quieren mucho y siempre están acompañándome y cuidándome.

My family consists of my parents, my younger sister, and me, we are a very united family and with the help of our grandparents and other relatives, we have learned to get ahead when difficulties make life a little difficult, my parents love me very much and have always supported me in my desire to develop physically and culturally, they always give me good advice that have allowed me, despite being so young, to achieve very good results in different areas of my life, I have the pleasure of having my great-grandmother on my mother's side who is 95 years old and who I love as if she were my mother, because she is very good and attentive to me and my little sister, I also have 2 wonderful pets my dog "Battle" and my other dog "Togo", which have very different temperaments, Battle is more fierce and guardian and Togo is more playful and makes life impossible for poor Battle who is older and grumpy, but both love each other very much and are always accompanying me and taking care of me.

Mis estudios primarios los realicé en la escuela “Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra”, la cual queda muy cerca de mi casa, allí obtuve excelentes resultados académicos y tuve a la mejor de las profesoras llamada: “Ramona Irdaliza Díaz Rivero” quien fue siempre una guía para el desarrollo de todos sus estudiantes y en especial el mío, con la preparación que ella me dio, participé en los concursos de español e historia a nivel municipal, también nos involucró en un proyecto de ahorro de energía electrodoméstica llamado PAEME (Programa de Ahorro de Energía del Ministerio Educacional), este proyecto nos permitió ganar un concurso municipal y luego el provincial.

Desempeño Cultural:

De mi vida y desempeño cultural, les puedo comentar que me apasionan el canto, el baile, la música y la pintura, comencé a aprender canto en el “Coro Solfa” en un proyecto de coro para niños que se desarrollaba en el municipio Plaza, en La Habana, posteriormente me incliné hacia el baile español, debido a que en una presentación del coro Solfa en el teatro Nacional de Cuba, tuve la oportunidad de ver la actuación de un grupo de niñas de mi misma edad bailando con esos hermosos trajes de bailarina española y esos movimientos fuertes y firmes, motivaron mi pasión hacia la práctica de esta modalidad de baile, el cuál comencé a practicar desde los 7 años en la escuela de baile español “Rosalía de Castro” ubicada en el casco histórico de la ciudad; a la edad de 9 años y con muchos esfuerzos mi papá me logró comprar una guitarra, lo que me provocó una inmensa alegría porque aunque quería aprender piano, eso nos era imposible y bueno la guitarra fue un excelente opción, enseguida comencé a aprender de manera autodidacta, pero no fue hasta que un amigo de mi papá me acogió como su alumna, que comencé a avanzar en el aprendizaje de este bello instrumento, el cual se sincronizaba perfectamente con la música española de mis clases de baile, y hoy ya he compuesto algunas canciones, las que les compartiré más adelante en esta comunidad, también me gusta mucho la lectura y mi familia me lleva siempre a la Feria Internacional del Libro que se celebra todos los años en La Habana, Cuba, en el castillo del Morro.

Mis comienzos en la pintura fueron durante un “taller vacacional de dibujo Manga”, que realizaban la Habana Vieja cerca del trabajo de mi mamá, y al ella enterarse me llevó para que me hicieran las pruebas, a ver si podía pertenecer al taller, y para mi placer fui seleccionada desde el primer día, allí aprendí muchas técnicas de dibujo y participé en 3 exposiciones de arte la primera en el “Hotel Tulipán” ubicado en el municipio plaza, la segunda en el “Museo de Bellas Artes”, y la tercera en el “Museo Casa de Asia” ubicados ambos en el casco histórico de la ciudad.

My beginnings in painting were during a "Manga Drawing Vacation Workshop", which was held in Old Havana near my mother's work, and when she found out about it, she took me to be tested to see if I could belong to the workshop, and to my pleasure I was selected from the first day, There I learned many drawing techniques and participated in 3 art exhibitions, the first at the "Hotel Tulipán" located in the Plaza Municipality, the second at the "Museo de Bellas Artes", and the third at the "Museo Casa de Asia", both located in the historic center of the city.

Comencé mis estudios de secundaria básica en la escuela “José Machado Rodríguez”, allí me he desempeñado como muy bien aprendiendo todas las materias que me imparten, y además me incorporé al grupo artístico de la escuela donde además de tocar guitarra, canto en el coro, y también como solista, he actuado como bailarina española, y tuve el placer de formar parte de un grupo de estudiantes que participarían en el concurso municipal de física, donde obtuve el primer lugar, actualmente estoy cursando el noveno grado y he tenido el inmenso honor de recibir la noticia de que obtuve el 1er lugar en el escalafón de continuidad de estudios.
