### Carlos M. Cipolla El asunto es que sí, esto guarda relación con las leyes que planteó en un ensayo de 1976, el historiador de economía italiano **Carlo M. Cipolla**, denominadas **[Las Leyes Fundamentales de la Estupidez.](https://filco.es/las-5-leyes-la-estupidez-humana/)** *Y lo digo antes de pronunciar la palabra **[estupidez](https://theconversation.com/que-es-la-estupidez-142471)**, porque no quiero ni pensar lo que se me vendría encima de haber llamado así directamente a alguien; **más, a quien se cayó en la piscina…*** Para **Cipolla**, la estupidez es percibida como la mayor amenaza existencial para la humanidad, pues hay muchos seres que la poseen. *¿Manejar con ingestión de alcohol? ¿Dejar a hijos o mascotas en el auto cerrado mientras compran en un supermercado? ¿Seguir indicaciones de ingestión de medicamentos por un juego de las redes? ¿Consumir bebidas azucaradas a diario? ¿Votar masivamente a políticos con antecedentes de racismo o de haber participado en acciones de guerra?* ***La lista es interminable.*** *Quiero aclarar, yo no creo que una persona sea estúpida, creo que la persona actúa en forma estúpida. Por eso es bueno evaluarse y, al final del día o del ciclo, detectar nuestras acciones que definen que sí lo hicimos.* Hay abundancia de ellos, son irracionales, ocasionan problemas sin obtener beneficios para sí mismos. Ustedes dirán… ***La tercera ley*** tiene que ver con las consecuencias, pues perjudica a los a otros grupos de personas, pero no obtiene ganancias para él, e incluso, puede llegar a sufrir pérdidas. *¿No les parece a ustedes que aquel que practica moto piruetas con escasa protección podría estar cumpliendo esta ley?* ***La cuarta ley*** es que se subestima el poder dañino que ellos tienen, precisamente por eso, porque subestimamos los riesgos que ocasionan, y que generan un mal social. Y ***la quinta y última ley***, según Cipolla afirma, que es el tipo de persona más peligroso que existe. Realmente no es una palabra ofensiva, pues **[la estupidez](https://dle.rae.es/estupidez)** ha sido definida como comprender y actuar en forma torpe. Así, ***[el filósofo Johann Erdmann en 1866](https://www.elpais.cr/2024/02/21/la-estupidez-presente/)**, la definió como la estrechez de miras*; por eso es que la palabra “mentecato” significa falto de mente; ***y decía que en cuanto más se multiplicaran o existieran los puntos de vista, menor sería la estupidez y mayor sería la inteligencia.*** *¿Pero, de dónde nace la torpeza o esa cualidad de comprender o de actuar en forma estrecha a nivel mental?* En la falta de reflexión y en el egoísmo intelectual, en la falta de capital ideativo; y no creo que estamos sufriendo de ceguera mental, ni tampoco de una limitación mental para adquirir la mayor cantidad de puntos de vista, cuando las redes sociales nos permiten tener cualquier cantidad de perspectivas. Por otro lado, se describen ***tipologías***, como el incauto o bondadoso, que ayuda a otros aun dañándose a sí mismo; el inteligente, que se beneficia a sí mismo y a los demás; el malvado o bandido, que perjudica a los demás para beneficiarse a sí mismo, y el estúpido, donde la falta de reflexión hace que se dañe el mismo y a los demás.  > * [Pixabay-SarahRichterArt](https://pixabay.com/es/photos/mar-el-verano-vacaciones-italia-2412596/) * ### ¿Por qué esto? *Lo que sí existe es torpeza en la comprensión, porque es demasiada la información que nos llega y a cada segundo, que no nos permite razonar, sino solo leer superficialmente.* Igualmente, estamos viviendo con egoísmo intelectual, negamos la complejidad del conocimiento o lo infinito que puede ser el conocimiento del hombre, porque existen demasiados influencers que tienen una verdad absoluta. Y el exceso de ego, vanidad y sobrevaloración recibida en las redes, donde hay personas que sin merecerlo tienen publicaciones virales, con un empoderamiento vacío y sin razón, que no aceptan otras verdades. *Por último, (sé, que hay más), creo que hay mucho dogmatismo; que podemos estar viviendo en un dogmatismo de modos de actuar y de ver la vida, que limita o estrecha la capacidad de comprender que existen otras verdades más sanas y reflexivas.* Al final, los mayores siempre terminamos siendo criticones; o peor, los culpables de atraer situaciones negativas por pensar en forma oscura, valiéndonos, para hacer daño, de ***la Ley de la Atracción, el gran secreto...*** *Pero igual, las cosas hay que estudiarlas antes de tomar decisiones o de actuar, prever siempre los daños o situaciones negativas; y eso es evaluación.* ***Dirán que es imposible prevenirlo todo, pero, ¡cuánto se evita evaluando y evitando!***
