### No es solo comida y prevención de daños Sobre todo, en mi columna **Actual Azul** en la comunidad de @mundo.autismo, me he enfocado en lo que debemos hacer como padres para *[mejorar esta profesión que la vida nos delega.](https://sanpedro.vc-sp.edu.pe/blog/rol-de-los-padres-en-la-educacion-de-sus-hijos/)* Los niños, recordemos que no vienen al mundo ni por su voluntad, ni tampoco esperando que los padres actuemos con un manual de instrucciones; así que este proceso de ser padres y ser hijos es una profesión que se va aprendiendo etapa por etapa. ***¿Cuál es el objetivo más importante de educarlos?,*** porque no es solo estimular su desarrollo integral y fomentar su autonomía con habilidades motoras, cognitivas y sociales; pues es también *darles valores, pautas de acción y colaborar en el proceso de aprendizaje que ellos van a tener.* Aquí están algunos tips para que reflexiones y evalúes en relación con tu papel como padre o madre.  > * [Pixabay-Debannja](https://pixabay.com/es/photos/padre-hija-padre-e-hija-playa-agua-5499616/) * ### Involúcrate en esto: (Tips) *Estoy terminando una tesis sobre el acompañamiento parental para mejorar el rendimiento académico de los hijos, por lo que mi primera reflexión es sobre:* ***¿Cuánto estás acompañando a tus hijos en sus actividades escolares?*** Recuerda que no solamente eres un ejemplo de vida, sino que vas a ser el que module su emocionalidad y sus valores; sobre todo, eres ejemplo de colaboración en casa y en la comunidad donde viven. Debes aprender a [involucrarte en la educación de tus hijos](https://www.rededuca.net/blog/educacion-y-docencia/papel-padres-educacion-hijos#:~:text=Los%20padres%20o%20tutores%20como%20educadores&text=Desde%20la%20infancia%2C%20son%20los,a%20trav%C3%A9s%20de%20sus%20comportamientos.), porque eso *disminuye el ausentismo escolar y mejora el rendimiento académico de ellos; y, algo importante, el comportamiento es modulado desde la escuela y desde el hogar, por lo que el profesor y los padres deben estar siempre en contacto.* Además, formarás parte activa de esa hermosa etapa escolar que vivirán tus hijos, por lo que, crea un espacio para estudiar con ellos y promueve el razonamiento crítico, ayudándolos a razonar lo que estudian. Supervisa sus actividades y su progreso, e involúcrate con las actividades escolares, ya que, el amor por la escuela se fomenta con motivación e interés. Por cierto, no dejes de lado la tecnología; no es solo la revisión de redes sociales, es que la información que puedes obtener es inmensamente ilimitada.  > * [Pixabay-Davegerber](https://pixabay.com/es/photos/familia-playa-vacaciones-hierba-4847987/) * ### Somos la base de la sociedad *Si hay una crítica importante que se le está haciendo al modelo de vida moderno, es la pérdida de valoración por la familia cada vez mayor.* La familia está dejando de ser lo que siempre ha sido y será: ***la base para el crecimiento y organización de la sociedad.*** Es aquí donde se aprende lo fundamental para poder tener éxito en la existencia y conseguir la felicidad; y, por otro lado, la relación entre la familia y el entorno debe ser completa, no solo en el sitio donde se vive, sino también con las organizaciones que forman parte de la vida diaria. Entonces, las instituciones educativas deben tener un lugar importante a nivel del núcleo familiar. La educación no es institucional solamente, esta tiene enfoques multifacéticos en los cuales, la familia y la escuela juegan los principales papeles; pero también, el entorno y los valores que, a través de los gobiernos, se transmiten a la población. *Solo queremos que reflexiones y que te mantengas informado.* ***Ya que, cada hijo es un desafío, lo que representa un aprendizaje y una gran preparación, para poder llevar a cabo nuestro trabajo de la mejor manera.***

The family is ceasing to be what it has always been and will always be: ***the basis for the growth and organization of society.*** It is here that we learn the fundamentals for success in life and happiness. Furthermore, the relationship between the family and its environment must be comprehensive, not only in the place where we live, but also with the organizations that are part of our daily lives. Therefore, educational institutions must have an important place within the family unit.
