🎨 Drawing Nico Robin: A Dream on the Sunny

Aquí de nuevo su amigo Emja 🧑🎨 con un nuevo dibujo para esta semana. En esta ocasión, quise dibujar a otro personaje de One Piece 🏴☠️: ¡la increíble Nico Robin! Un personaje femenino que a muchos fans les encanta, ¡estoy seguro!, por su personalidad y su icónica forma de vestir.👗

Your friend Emja is back 🧑🎨 with a new drawing for this week! This time, I wanted to draw another character from One Piece 🏴☠️: the amazing Nico Robin! A female character that I'm sure many fans love for her personality and her iconic dressing style. 👗

Este dibujo es algo simple, no tiene mucha ciencia. Es un fanart de Robin recostada en una silla. De fondo, y como si fuera un sueño ✨, vemos el Going Merry ⛵ con colores bastante vibrantes, nada nostálgico o triste, ¡todo lo contrario! En la escena, ella responde con un simple "¿Qué?" como si la hubieran despertado de golpe. 😲

This drawing is quite simple; it's nothing too complicated. It's a fanart of Robin lying back in a chair. In the background, as if it were a dream ✨, we see the Going Merry ⛵ with vibrant colors—nothing nostalgic or sad, quite the opposite! In the scene, she responds with a simple "What?" as if she had been suddenly woken up. 😲

Como saben, mi proceso es el de siempre. Empecé primero con un lineart sencillo para poder arreglarlo luego y que quedara más o menos decente. Para la ropa, me fijé en la que usa durante el arco del reencuentro. Aunque las figuras femeninas de One Piece son a veces un desafío, ¡creo que quedó bien! 💪

As you know, my process is the usual one. I started with a simple lineart to fix it later and make it look somewhat decent. For the clothes, I looked at the outfit she uses during the reunion arc. Although the female figures in One Piece are sometimes a challenge, I think it turned out well! 💪

Seguidamente, me puse a pintar. Primero, como siempre, empecé con las tonalidades de piel, tomando en cuenta la imagen de referencia que les dejaré por aquí. 📸 También pinté un poco de su ropa, sobre todo la parte azul del escote (no sé cómo se llama exactamente 😅), para luego seguir con el pelo y el resto del vestido.

Next, I started painting. First, as always, I began with the skin tones, considering the reference image I'll leave here for you. 📸 I also painted a bit of her clothes, especially the blue part of the neckline (I'm not sure what it's called exactly 😅), before continuing with the hair and the rest of the dress.

Sinceramente, siempre me cuesta un poquito dibujar la madera 🪵, aunque en este caso fue sencillo, ya que usé una base de referencia para el sillón. Para el fondo, y para hacer alusión al Merry, usé una imagen que conseguí en Pinterest 📌 con un poquito de desenfoque de movimiento para que se viera genial. También le puse una capa de multiplicar para que las sombras se marcaran más en nuestro personaje.

Honestly, drawing wood 🪵 is always a little tough for me, although in this case, it was easy since I used a reference base for the chair. For the background, and to allude to the Merry, I used an image I found on Pinterest 📌 with a slight motion blur to make it look great. I also added a multiply layer so the shadows would stand out more on our character.

El resultado final es este, y de verdad, ¡espero que les guste bastante! 💖 Denle mucho apoyo, porque quiero seguir haciendo esto. Mi meta es dibujar a todos los personajes, algunos en versión femenina, ya que los masculinos se me dificultan un poco. Nos vemos en la próxima. ¡Chao! 👋
