Guardians of Holozing: An Unbreakable Bond! 🤝🐶🔥

¡Qué lo que, mi gente! 🤗 Aquí está de nuevo su amigo Emja con un nuevo dibujo para Holozing. Esta vez me inspiré en la idea de los perros guardianes y dibujé a dos personajes como si fueran una pareja de protectora: una chica con una pose amigable y su criatura detrás con una actitud agresiva, ¡como si estuviera lista para protegerla!

What's up, everyone! 🤗 Your friend Emja is back again with a new drawing for Holozing. This time, I was inspired by the idea of guardian dogs and drew two characters as a protective duo: a girl with a friendly pose and her creature behind her with an aggressive attitude, as if it's ready to protect her!

Mi inspiración fue ver cómo los perritos son tan protectores con los niños. Quería representar ese mismo vínculo con estos personajes. Por eso, primero dibujé a la chica mirándonos directamente, mientras que la criatura detrás de ella la protege con una mirada de pocos amigos. Es como si nos dijera: "¡Hazle algo, y te las verás conmigo!" 😠

My inspiration came from seeing how dogs are so protective of children. I wanted to represent that same bond with these characters. So, I first drew the girl looking directly at us, while the creature behind her protects her with a "don't mess with me" look. It's as if it's telling us: "Do something to her, and you'll have to deal with me!" 😠

Después de pulir el lineart, empecé a colorear a la niña con tonos claros. Usé una paleta de colores de piel que ya conozco bien, lo cual hace el trabajo mucho más rápido. Con la ropa, fui de abajo hacia arriba, capa por capa, y le fui dando sombras para que se viera de dónde viene la luz. Cuando terminé con ella, me fui con la criatura, dándole los colores de la imagen de referencia.

After refining the line art, I started coloring the girl with light tones. I used a skin color palette that I'm already familiar with, which makes the work much faster. With the clothes, I went from the bottom up, layer by layer, and added shadows to show where the main light source is coming from. When I finished with her, I moved on to the creature, giving it the colors from the reference image.

Lo más divertido fue dibujar el fuego 🔥 en una capa por encima de todo. ¡Me encantó cómo quedó! Para el toque final, le agregué el estilo de carta, ¡y el resultado me pareció brutal! Espero que les guste mucho el producto final. ¡Nos vemos en la próxima! 😉

The most fun part was drawing the fire 🔥 on a layer on top of everything. I loved how it turned out! For the final touch, I added the card style, and I think the result is awesome! I hope you like the final product a lot. See you next time! 😉
