Holozing with a Different Vibe: Dreadlocks! 🎨

¡Qué lo que, mi gente! 🤗 Aquí está de nuevo su amigo Emja con un nuevo dibujo para Holozing. Esta vez quise probar algo diferente y dibujé a uno de sus personajes femeninos con rastas, a ver cómo quedaban.

What's up, everyone! 🤗 Your friend Emja is back again with a new drawing for Holozing. This time, I wanted to try something different and drew one of its female characters with dreadlocks, just to see how they would look.

La verdad, la idea era sencilla: la personaje mirándonos de frente con una sonrisa. Agarré lápiz y papel para hacer el boceto inicial, y luego lo pasé a Krita para perfeccionar el lineart y empezar a darle color. Como siempre, empecé por la piel, usando una tonalidad oscura para que se pareciera más a la imagen de referencia. Luego seguí con la ropa y el pelo, y al final, le di los toques finales a los detalles pequeños, como la boca, los ojos y el tinte del pelo.

The idea was simple, to be honest: the character looking at us from the front with a slight smile. I grabbed a pencil and paper to do the initial sketch, and then I moved to Krita to refine the line art and start coloring. As always, I began with the skin, using a dark tone to match the reference image. Then I continued with the clothes and the hair, and finally, I added the finishing touches to the small details, like the mouth, the eyes, and the hair dye.

Aunque el dibujo parece simple, tuve bastante dificultad con las rastas, ¡nunca las había dibujado! No sabía muy bien cómo hacerlas, pero después de varios intentos, logré hacerlas lo mejor que pude.

Although the drawing seems simple, I had a lot of trouble with the dreadlocks—I had never tried to draw them before and I wasn't sure how to do it. But after a few attempts, I managed to do the best I could to give you this result.
