Growing Or Farming Lettuce Crop In The Farm / Following My Aunty To The Farm And Seeing Lettuce Crop For The First Time Is A New Experience For Me.

 Hello everyone, today I will be sharing my new experience in the farm about lettuce. Yea, lettuce I said it again. I know so many people doesn't know about this particular crop, that's definitely true including me until today. This is the first time I saw it with my eyes and I was so excited and impressed with everything my aunty told me about it. But should I tell you something and surprise you the same way I was surprised today in the farm? a lot of people have been eating this particular crop lettuce as vegetable or as salad but doesn't know how it has been produced or look like in the farm.  This lettuce crop consist of mainly of water, about 95 percent of water. For a farmer to grow this particular crop, the farmers needs enough of water availability because this crop lettuce grow when enough water is added or pour on it. That's why irrigation farming system is best suitable for growing lettuce crop.  When I went to the farm with my Aunty I didn't know she's farming lettuce. Besides I didn't even know how lettuce looks like physically. All I know about lettuce is that my parents used to buy it for salad and we will cook it as vegetable and eat it with other food ingredients. When I got to the farm and saw it , I didn't know it and I asked my Aunty what kind of crop is this and she said lettuce.  I was shocked and became full of excitement seeing lettuce for the first time in the farm . Then I asked my Aunty wow is this how lettuce look like in the farm? I haven't seen it in the farm before and she said yes that's how lettuce looks like in the farm. And when it grow and matured then the owner will cultivate it and take it home or market and sell the lettuce leaf. Then I said it seems there are so many crops I didn't know how they look like in the farm except to buy it in the market already it has been harvesting by the farmers already and this lettuce leaf is among the crops but today I have knowledge about it.  My Aunty told me this lettuce leaf is fully packed with so many nutrients inside and not only been eating as salad only. Lettuce being a vegetable is good for body immune system and is good for management of weight loss. She further said this lettuce crop also helps in fasten or quicker digestion, supporting the immune system to function properly, helps in recovery from eyes problem. The lettuce leaf is very good for body system and does so many function we don't even know about it.  That this leaf lettuce is mostly recommended for people having eyes problem, high blood pressure, and to improve their health by placing them on eating lettuce leaf to keep them healthy, strengthen their bones and help their body stand against other disease and infection.   From the beginning I thought lettuce leaf is only eaten as salad or vegetable like other popkin or Ugu leaf, spinach and other leaf. I didn't know this lettuce leaf has so many benefits to the body and does a lot of good works when eaten regularly and even makes one stay hydrated and maintain one body shape or body structure.  Then I told my Aunty from today I will be eating the lettuce leaf very well to get body fits. Experience is really and actually the best teacher as an old adage often says.   And today I've confirmed it myself, I saw lettuce crop and it leaf for the first time in my life in the farm and have learned new things about it too.
