I remembered how my friends and I celebrated Christmas last year 2024.

 I remembered my friends and I dressed up to church on a Christmas day last year, and after the church service we decided to take some pictures together to post online. From the beginning on the Christmas Eve day, my friends were telling me the kind of clothes they will wear to church and to different cultural places that they will go after church service. Because in my community on a Christmas day most of the nearby villages or communities usually organized cultural dance in the evening on a Christmas day and the ground used to be filled with so many people to watch other people dancing and some enjoyed dancing.  They even told me specific places they will go and asked if I will followed them but I said no way am not going anywhere after church service. They asked me why wouldn't I go with them to have fun and celebrate as usual. I told them nothing just that I will be expecting a visitor from the other community that are coming to visit me. So if I go with them what then would happen to my visitors if they come and didn't meet me at home.  The other friend that was engaged said he will take his woman to the cultural dance place, they doesn't want a dull moment at all and I laughed and said I wish them best of luck. In the evening that Christmas day last year 2024, I received a phone called from my friend Meshach asking me if am at home or have gone out I said am at home yet still waiting for you because he told me he might visit me so am not sure if he will come or not. He told me he is close and in few minutes I will land in my area and I said that's fine, wished him safe journey.  In less than an hour time he came and we greeted and hugged each other. I took him inside my house and offered him food and drinks and meat I have kept for visitors. But you know on a Christmas day or any day of such celebration people doesn't usually eat food much because of it availability everywhere. Most people only eat meat and drink drinks including me. While we were gisting and discussing my phone rang and I picked the called, it was my cousin sister on the phone call was asking me Uncle Emma are you at home and I said yes am at home.  She told me she wants to visit me because her mother went out and left her and their little baby girl, their last born at home. I said that's fine and asked her to come around since I am not going out. But I asked if their snacks is still remaining and she said, the asked did I need some snacks and I said absolutely yes I needs some she said will bring some for me. My cousin sister and I are very close, we grew up together and attending the same boarding school together. Then I used to protect and defend her from bad boys that tried to make mess of her and because of such experiences it straightened our bold and make us become more closer relatives.  She came and met me with my other friend Meshach eating and discussing. She greeted and brought out the snacks she brought for me and I asked her to give me their little baby to hold her and allowed her sit on my lab . We were gisting and having fun , talking and laughing about what someone has done or talking about the celebration.  The little baby name is Progress, she's such a beautiful little baby. She's fat and she eat food a lot. I liked the little baby girl and I have given her meat and I went out and bought the little baby girl Bobo drink because I doesn't want her to drink minerals. She was so excited while drinking the Bobo drink and I was laughing at how she ate rice and stew that day. After the little baby girl has finished eating she later fall asleep. Still in the celebration in my room with my friend and my cousin sister, I told them if not because they visited me I could have went for place where they are gathering for cultural dance and watch those people dancing. But their coming stopped me and they laughed and said I will go after they have left.  We were talking when my cousin sister received a phone called from her friends asking her where is she, that they came to her house to see her wanting to surprised her but it seems nobody is at their home. She told them she is in my house because everyone has gone out and her mother left the little baby with her so she won't go out and stay long because of the baby that's why she decided to come to my place. My cousin sister house is not too far from my house, just few minutes or meter away from my house. She directed her friends and they came to my house and I asked them to enter the room.  Her friends are beautiful, two amazing beautiful ladies. I welcome them to my house and offered them the same meat and drink and snacks my cousin sister brought for me and all of them joined me eating it. I was like wow today so many people visited me, and I fed them very well and they will all laughed out loud that am super excited because am hosting them in my room right and I will answer oh yeah I have tried by hosting them and making them feels comfortably.  I was so happy having them around that day even though I didn't planed to have such people except my friend Meshach who told me he might come to see me. He was the only person I was expecting but I had even more , a total of three adults and one little baby who I overfeed till she falls asleep hahahah we all laughed. Then, my friend Meshach offered or asked to buy my sister cousin friends drinks and they accepted. It was my sister that went out and bought them yoghurt and nultri-milk because we don't have those kind of drinks in our house except minerals.  We all talked and when they are all about to go home, I appreciated them especially my sister friends who wanted visiting my sister their friend at her house but ended up visited her in my house and made my day so lovely and beautiful.  When we reach outside the gate of our house, I asked them let's all take pictures as a good memories that day they all came and spend their entire Christmas celebration evening in my house and we took some pictures.  Remembering that particular day looks like is just happened yesterday. The memory of how I celebrated my last year 2024 Christmas was still fresh in my mind.  Having good times and spending quality time with good friends especially in a day of celebration like that cannot be forgotten easily. And the celebration memories still fresh in my mind.
