My Potatoes Farm.

 I went to farm today to take a look at my potatoes and weed my potatoes farm, I noticed it has grow very greenish, very well and it spread round the farm. Potatoes is very good and does a lot of good to the body system immune system as an energy given food. It contains good amount of carbohydrates and vitamin C and a little bit of Vitamin B6 constituents.   Farming potatoes is not too difficult like other farm produces. Just get a good land that has good soil and fertile land and and plant your potatoes seeds there. Potatoes is a very easy and simple food to be cooked, it can be cook with rice, fry it and eat with tea or eggs.  In our house we eat potatoes almost everyday because of it availability and it accessibility in our house. We used to farm it in a large qualities and bring it home after harvesting it from the farm. My little brothers and other nephew that stays with us in our house like taking tea and potatoes instead of tea and bread. And at times my mother will fry the potatoes and give them to take it to school. We don't lack potatoes in our house because of this little children and we farm it very well because of them too .   Even me, I can boil the potatoes and eat with red oil or fry it as potatoes chips and eat it. It does so many things to us as a family and helps my parents reduced the expensive of buying too much rice or noodles for those children since those children prefer taking tea and potatoes instead of bread it reduces the stress of buying bread for them.  When I went to farm today, I had to weed it well, removed those grazes that are under the potatoes with my bares hands to keep the potatoes farm very clean and neat. If you leave your potatoes farm in a dirty farm or allow grazes to grow and germinate together with the potatoes you won't have any good harvest or you will see the potatoes seed will not be big . The potatoes crop takes only three to four months then harvesting and one can harvest it even two or more times in a year.   You can cut the potato leafs that you have already planted and re plant it in another farm while waiting for the one you planted first to germinate for harvesting. Farming potatoes is very good, and a has so many importance in our area these days. Because of the rate of poverty and hungry nowadays, there are so people that can not afford rice, noodles and other fast food anymore. But having potatoes at home will go along because is a carbohydrate as well. If you can't afford to buy eggs or plantain and fry as chips you can farm potatoes and it will give you the same nutrite those ones can give.  I took a local mixture of firewood and pour it on the potatoes as a local chemicals. The dry local firewoods mixture helps the potatoes to grow healthy and destroy other insects that might have invade and trying to destroy the potatoes from germinating well . With even small amount of water and proper maintenance your potatoes farm will grow healthy and produce good and big seeds.   You doesn't needs to have a very big land or money before you can farm potatoes farm. Even in a small portion of land you can farm potatoes and it will grow . It doesn't needs a specific farmland like rice or maize as I said earlier. Potatoes is a w life saving food, fast and easy to accessible. Even poor people farm potatoes farm because of availability and accessibility. Potatoes Farm is one of the low budget farm in agribusiness I have known. You doesn't need to spend much before farming it but you can even get more and much than what you have spent. Other states like Benue and Jos, farm potatoes very well for business purposes.  They normally farm it in a big quantities and take it to the market after harvesting and sell it. Other people from different states go to Jos and purchase potatoes of different varieties and take it to their houses. As a person that is thinking about investing in any agriculture business, farming potatoes is not a bád idea. The business is gainful and profitable. People that farm potatoes for business purposes gain more than what they spend in the farm period.  All you need as a farmer to have a land, then purchased the potatoes seeds. Besides the seeds potatoes are very cheap and accessible to afford. Potatoes grow fast, just a period of 3-4 months and is done, ready for harvesting. Potatoes is a food that fight hunger in our country Nigeria. You can fast boil or fry it and eat or feed your children before looking for another food to prepare for yourself or family. I just believed my potatoes farm will yeild good seeds for me this year for more even more than it does last year.
