Hace casi una semana asistí a mi primer congreso importante en Pediatría; emitido por la Sociedad Venezolana de Puericultura y Pediatría en el hotel Hesperia de mi ciudad natal. Un congreso nacional el cual se realiza cada año y en esta oportunidad tocó en Valencia; por lo que entendí no lo habían realizado desde que comenzó la Pandemia. >Almost a week ago I attended my first important congress in Pediatrics; issued by the Venezuelan Society of Childcare and Pediatrics at the Hesperia hotel in my hometown. A national congress which is held every year and on this occasion it played in Valencia; from what I understood they had not done it since the Pandemic began.   Fue extremadamente emocionante, no sólo por estar rodeada de prestigiosos Pediatras, muchos de ellos investigadores y científicos; sino también porque pude reencontrarme con mis ex compañeros y especialistas de los Hospitales Molina Sierra y Dr enrique Tejera. >It was extremely exciting, not only because I was surrounded by prestigious Pediatricians, many of them researchers and scientists; but also because I was able to reconnect with my former colleagues and specialists from the Molina Sierra and Dr. Enrique Tejera Hospitals.  Fueron 3 días de mucho aprendizaje, felicidad y un poco de estrés; que pude aprovechar al máximo. Algo que de alguna manera que sirvió de mucha motivación y un poco de miedo por lo que viene al terminal la rural. Pues como he comentado en oportunidades anteriores, mi deseo es especializarme en el área de Pediatría; y justo en una semana, voy a presentar para optar un cupo en ese postgrado. >It was 3 days of a lot of learning, happiness and a bit of stress; which I was able to make the most of. Something that in some way served as a lot of motivation and a little fear for what is coming to the rural terminal. Well, as I have mentioned on previous occasions, my desire is to specialize in the area of Pediatrics; and just in a week, I am going to apply for a place in that postgraduate course. .jpeg) Fue inevitable o sentirme pequeñita al lado de todos esos pediatras tan prestigiosos y reconocidos, con una larga trayectoria en la Medicina; pero sin duda alguna fue una motivación para seguir y para reafirmar que es a esto que quiero dedicarme. >It was inevitable or I felt small next to all those pediatricians so prestigious and recognized, with a long career in Medicine; but without a doubt it was a motivation to continue and to reaffirm that this is what I want to dedicate myself to.
