Hive Meetups That Foster Growth.

In two weeks, there have been 2 special Hive meets in my City Aba, Nigeria all hosted by [@fokusnow at Happy Customer Supermarket](https://hive.blog/hive-152267/@fokusnow/memorable-hive-meetup-on-30). The first was our official monthly meetup for August which has become part of our routine over here. As a group with similar visions and goals, it is always nice for us to meet together in this manner to discuss how we can get better on the Blockchain, because not just one or two,but several ideas are shared amongst ourselves. Pro tips and how we all can continue to find our way around the vast Hive Blockchain.  A lot of valid points were raised, amongst which were the idea of engaging in more Hive marketing. It's an already existing idea, which a lot of us have been putting so much efforts on. But we also explored other ways we could maybe take it higher or push ourselves more to reach out to more people who haven't heard about Hive or Web3 at large. Thankfully, we have been trying our best, doing some good marketing through the spendhbd project and our very own Happy Customer Supermarket has aided greatly to this cause. Most of our fellow Hiveans here in Aba has also make sure to use fliers and other promotional tools to reach more audience. Powering up is another way to grow on Hive,which we all discussed. People are always excited about the rewards that they forget to build themselves by powering up some Hive. After the encouragement at the meetups, we had a lot of our people here and also the customers, who engaged in the power up exercise on the 1st of September. It was all as the result of attending a wholesome meetup.   We also talked about working together to build a community where we can always post about our efforts in marketing Hive and thanks to @focusnow, Hive Growth Hub is that place. You can always visit the community to see and maybe share all you do to promote Hive. And of course, every community needs it members to function. We also looked at how we can get new members who can join and add value to our new community. This thought prompted the second Hive meet we had yesterday which is basically about aiding newbies in their Hive journey and Web3 all together.  Journey of a HIVEAN is designed to help newbies navigate their way through Hive, helping them know what to expect and how to add value to the system in return. Yesterday,we had a turnup of 7 new people who came after hearing about Hive from our zealous marketers. It was a fun one helping them, get their own personal account and have wallets and also helping them make their very first purchasing exercise using the distriator. The excitement was written all over their faces and they wanted to know more,but it was just the first class. Some of them made a few wave posts and it was all intriguing. In subsequent times,the the Journey of a HIVEAN series courses, they will definitely get better at Hive.    For someone who has stayed for a while on Hive, meetups excite me. Coming together is boost for all.of us, a somewhat effective means of motivation. Nothing beats having people around you who wants to grow and also want the same for you. In the end, we're going to achieve all our goals and hit all our targets together.
