Se llama "Resignación" y la interpreta Julio Miranda, el cantautor del amor, oriundo del estado Sucre. Recuerdo con mucha emoción cuando la cantó en televisión… fue como cumplir un sueño de toda la vida, llegar a lo más alto dentro de la música llanera venezolana, que en esos tiempos no era nada fácil. En esa presentación lo acompañó mi gran amigo Franklin Goyo, mejor conocido como Petete. Él sigue activo, tocando el cuatro venezolano junto a artistas como Luis Silva y Skarlet Linares. También estuvieron Escalona en El Arpa, Aquiles Ontiveros en las maracas, Pastor Querales en el Bajo… músicos increíbles que grabaron conmigo en 2004 un par de temas se nota en foto que en ese tiempo comer aún no era difícil en Venezuela pues yo tenía 15 kilos más 😅. Lo más bonito de todo esto es que, a pesar del talento y la trayectoria, estos compañeros siguen siendo personas humildes, solidarias y muy colaboradoras. Por eso, con mucho cariño, les dejo esta joya musical. Today I want to share a song that truly touches my heart because of how emotional it is. It's called Resignation, performed by Julio Miranda, the singer of love, originally from Sucre state. I remember with great joy when he sang it on television—it felt like a lifelong dream come true, reaching the top of Venezuelan llanera music, which back then wasn’t easy at all.

During that performance, he was joined by my dear friend Franklin Goyo, better known as Petete. He’s still active today, playing the Venezuelan cuatro alongside artists like Luis Silva and Skarlet Linares. Also featured were Escalona on the harp, Aquiles Ontiveros on maracas, and Pastor Querales on bass… amazing musicians who recorded a couple of songs with me back in 2004.

The most beautiful part of all this is that, despite their talent and long careers, these friends remain humble, generous, and always willing to collaborate. That’s why, with lots of affection, I share this musical gem with you.
