Hello Hive! I'm back with another photoshoot. This time I went to the park with my dear Candela to spend the day out and to take some photos.
We started at La Floresta, which is a place I love for its many trees and green areas, and went to the small park there to start the photoshoot.
She wore a pinky/reddish floral dress, and ideal choice for that day. I wanted to do two things: to make a few close-ups, and to try an old 50mm lens that I have.
¡Hola Hive! Ya estoy de vuelta con otra sesión de fotos. Esta vez me fui al parque con mi querida Candela para pasar el día fuera y hacer algunas fotos.
Empezamos en La Floresta, que es un lugar que me encanta por sus muchos árboles y zonas verdes, y fuimos al pequeño parque que hay allí para empezar la sesión de fotos.
Llevaba un vestido de flores rosa/rojizo, una elección ideal para ese día. Quería hacer dos cosas: unos primeros planos, y probar un viejo lente de 50mm que tengo.
One of the things I like the most when taking pictures with Candela, is that we are always laughing or talking about something. We've been friends for several years and we get along pretty well, so it's not uncommon that after a "serious" photo there's a photo with a random or funny pose.
Una de las cosas que me gusta más a la hora de hacer fotos con Candela, es que siempre nos estamos riendo o conversando sobre algún tema. Tenemos varios años de amistad y congeniamos bastante bien, así que no es raro que luego de una foto "seria" haya una foto con una pose random o divertida.
At this point we started to move to another location, but we find this little "park" while we were walking the streets. This was my first time here, and we stopped to make more photos.
I switched to the 50mm. lens to give it a try. One thing I liked was the depth of focus, but as I was using a lens converter, the image lost its sharpness. You can see in the "haze" in two of the images, and the sharpness of my 28mm at the end.
En este punto empezamos a movernos a otro lugar, pero encontramos este pequeño "parque" mientras caminábamos por las calles. Esta era mi primera vez aquí, y nos detuvimos para hacer más fotos.
Cambié al objetivo de 50 mm. para probar. Una cosa que me gustó fue la profundidad de foco, pero como estaba usando un convertidor de lente, la imagen perdió nitidez. Se puede ver en la "neblina" en dos de las imágenes, y la nitidez de mi 28mm al final.
We were just leaving La Floresta when I saw a V-shaped tree that I liked. These turned out to be our favorite photos from that session. The tree provided a nice natural frame that Candela was able to use as a prop for the photos.
Ya nos íbamos de La Floresta cuando vi un árbol en forma de V que me gustó. Estas resultaron siendo nuestras fotos favoritas esa sesión. El árbol ofrecía un lindo marco natural que Candela supo usar como soporte para las fotos.
That's all for today! Shortly after that we went to another park, but I haven't developed those photos yet. In the next few days I'll get them out of Lightroom and bring them over here. See you in the next post!
