Art is an application of human skills made out of imagination to create objects, visualize experiences either auditory or performed. Each art, communicates emotions and feelings, ideas and new thoughts from our dance steps, to the beautiful melodies our vocals produce to the exceptional paper pieces and sculptures, all carry valuable information not to be taken for granted.
My recent trip to the museum has taught me a lot cause we saw pieces of art from the primitive age we called useless but worthy back then and even now because they are still properly secured for generations to come see.

Initially I was very quick to condemn any piece of art I came across because they do not make any sense to me until this particular day I visited a painter friend who had a young lad of about seven years old. This little boy was busy wasting his father's artistic materials and claims he was painting....well he did paint a young woman like the one majority of us drew while growing up and some rough lines using dark colors and that's all. Funny enough his dad literally gave meaning to his sons painting bringing out significant points that the drawing represents a woman who is currently going through difficult situations in life and looking for a way to come out thus the rough lines and the dark color representing difficulties.
I was amazed as to how he gave a powerful message to a painting the painter knew nothing about just a little child having fun. 😄 Since that that I appreciated arts. The fact I lack significance to the beautiful art doesn't mean it is senseless or bad because that's what most of us do so long it is not pleasing to the eye.

But technically speaking, there can also be bad art and here is why. Judging from crafts or skills, it can be called bad maybe because of how poor it was made especially when it's a competition between other creatives. this is not because the art lacks meaning because I do believe every beautiful piece is not void of meaning but that it lacks certain criteria as one has been mentioned above which is poorly made. Also it fails to communicate or pass the message needed at the particular point passing a totally different message.
Except for poorly made, lack of passing accuracy, no art is still bad and these will continue to stand no matter how hard it is for us to accept. The best we can do is to snub when we are not feeling it rather than talk down on a creation which probably took time to bring to reality. Lastly learn to be appreciative of every artist's work Maybe then we would begin to see the beauty of lots of stuff.
