For every advantage, there are just some disadvantages by the side but it only becomes bad when the bad over rules the good, that it becomes almost unnoticeable to see or perhaps........it feels impossible for good to happen again. This should not be the case, but it is what it is.
Without all the reasonable doubt, my dear country is blessed with so many beautiful things that are recognized world wide ranging from our fertile soil where liquid gold flows, the rich black earth for agricultural productions and other beautiful things. Although I can't boost that we are doing so well compared to other countries in these aspects again but globally we are known for these. So speaking of one good thing my country is best at, is it production of 'afro beat' 🪘. Nigeria my country is one of the very best in this field, it's unique sounds for music and in its diversity. The afro beat has won a global recognition that every other country can't resist this sound. Artists like Davido and Wizkid amidst others have gained international recognition and major label opening local offices. It is not just the circular alone which am not a family of....but have you listened to hot ninja praises before? My God! you will dance and forget your sorrows, I kid you not. And Crowning it all in the world of entertainment I will give it up to Nigeria because entertainment is not what it used to be before.....like we are so blessed when it comes to talent. Nollywood has one of the world's second largest film industries by the volume of movies produced. It is only behind Indian Bollywood and ahead of Hollywood.
Our amazing amapiano dance is also trending and it feels so good. Whenever I scroll through other social media platforms and see people who are not Nigerians dancing to this beats both young and old it raises my shoulders up for my dr country.
Hmmmm!! Despite the good of the country, it is with pain that I say the bad has overshadowed the good. It is not just about corruption in systems where leaders embezzle funds for their fourth generation unborn or where it is stated that no one is above the laws but so long you are in power and have the cash, anyone is above, lawlessness is now the order of the day. At least we blame the government for these but it is even painful that we are now known and ranked 5th position in internet fraud. These have brought lots of bad names to the country that people now become extra careful when dealing with us just to avoid being scammed.
These are not just mere facts but the reality we now face that Nigerians are even scared of Nigerians because we know ourselves and what we are capable of doing too. It has gotten these bad because the majority of her youths find it as a waste to engage in positive things and even if they want to, opportunities are not provided, the pay is little which is even barely enough to feed in a week or two for some families.
