🌸🌼🌷A relaxing day at El Guire Spa in El Pilar, Sucre State. 🌸🌼🌷

This weekend I've been spending time with my family, celebrating important dates and enjoying quality moments with them... And we decided to end the weekend by visiting a spa in El Guire, located in El Pilar, Benítez municipality, Sucre state. It's a nearby place with a gentle current, ideal for the little ones and also for those who aren't so little.

I hadn't visited it for many years, because it was the river I used to go to when I was a child and my cousins and I were taken there. Most of us are the same age, and today most of them have children between the ages of 2 and 4, so this is the perfect place for children to enjoy a river at their level, where they can play and be more independent.

The surprise is that although the resort has undergone renovations, it still retains its essence and is just as I remembered it. Although nature itself has caused some slight changes during floods, the course of the water flow remains the same. El Guire has no restaurants or large commercial outlets, but that makes it even more special. Everyone brings their own food and shares it as if the river were a large communal table.

Now there are many more trees on its banks, which keeps the climate super cool because the river current flows under the shade of the trees. There is plenty of space to hang hammocks and for visitors to spend a relaxing day.

On the other hand, we also noticed that there are cacao trees planted on the banks of this river. In the area where we decided to spend the night, there were plants with cacao pods growing and others that were ripe. This is also a reminder of the good cacao that is harvested in the Paria area of Sucre State. This variety of cacao pods was purple. I had seen yellow ones before, but not purple ones.

Visiting El Guire was more than just a trip. It was a reunion with my history, with my roots, with the way nature can embrace us without saying a word. It reminded me that you don't always have to go far to find beauty, that sometimes it's enough to return to the places that saw us grow up.

El Guire del Pilar is a simple spa resort, but one that is full of life. It is a place where water, shade, and memories come together to offer an experience that goes beyond tourism. It is a place to reconnect, to give thanks, to look into the eyes of those we love and say: "Here we are, together, and that's enough."

Este fin de semana me he estado compartiendo con mi familia, fechas importantes y pasando momentos de calidad con ellos ... Y decidimos cerrar este fin de semana visitando un balneario el Guire, queda en el pilar, municipio Benítez del estado Sucre, es un lugar cercano y con una corriente de agua suave ideal para los más pequeños de la casa y también para los no tan pequeños.

Yo tenía muchísimos años sin visitarlo, porque era el rio al que frecuentaba cuando eran una niña y nos llevaban junto con mis primos que la mayoría somos contemporáneos, hoy en día la mayoría ya tienen niños entre los 2-4 años así que este es el lugar perfecto para que los niños disfruten de un rio a su altura, dónde pueden jugar y desenvolverse más independiente.

La sorpresa es que el balneario aunque ha tenido sus remodelaciones, sigue manteniendo su escencia y es como lo recordaba, aunque la naturaleza misma ha generado algunos cambios leves durante sus crecidas, el surco del la corriente del agua sigue siendo la misma. El Guire no tiene restaurantes ni puestos comerciales grandes, pero eso lo hace aún más especial. Cada quien lleva lo suyo, y lo comparte como si el río fuera una gran mesa común

Ahora tiene muchos más árboles en su orilla, lo que hace que el clima se mantenga súper fresco porque la corriente del rio se desplaza bajo la sombra de los árboles, hay mucho espacio para colgar hamacas y para que los visitantes pasen un día relajado.

Por otro lado también pudimos notar como hay árboles de cacao sembrados a las orillas de este río, el la zono dónde decidimos pernoctar habían plantas con las maracas de cacao creciendo y otras maduras, es también un recordatorio del buen cacao que se cosecha en la zona de Paria del Estado Sucre. Está variedad de maracas de cacao eran color morada, Yo las había visto amarillas, pero no moradas.

Visitar El Guire fue más que un paseo. Fue un reencuentro con mi historia, con mis raíces, con la forma en que la naturaleza puede abrazarnos sin decir palabra. Me recordó que no siempre hay que ir lejos para encontrar belleza, que a veces basta con volver a esos lugares que nos vieron crecer.

El Guire del Pilar es un balneario sencillo, pero lleno de vida. Es un espacio donde el agua, la sombra y los recuerdos se mezclan para ofrecer una experiencia que va más allá del turismo.
