A big hello to the "Summer Vibes" community. Today I'm here to share what have been a few much-needed days of disconnection. This year has been a year of challenges, and I still have a few tests to overcome before the end of the year. This isn't the first time I've taken a few days off for this purpose... not knowing anything about what's happening in the world. I already mentioned in my previous post that I had no intention of browsing social media, including Hive, during those days off. This intention included not taking any photos for a possible post. However, here's the post I dedicate to that break I took, and it's packed with photographs. --- >Un saludo muy grande comunidad a la comunidad "Summer Vibes". Hoy vengo a compartir lo que han sido unos días de desconexión más que necesarios. Este año ha sido un año de retos y todavía me queda alguna prueba por superar hasta final de año. >No es el primer año en el que me tomo unos días libres con este fin... no saber mada de lo que ocurre en el mundo. >Ya avisé en mi anterior publicación que no tenía intención de andar por redes sociales, inluido Hive, durante esos días de descanso. >Este propósito incluía la intención de no tomar fotos para una posible publicación. Sin embargo, aquí está la publicación que dedico a ese paréntesis que me tomé y... bien repleteta de fotografías.

Arriving at Terminal 4 of Madrid Airport is quite a spectacle if you look up from above. The wavy shapes are interspersed with circular openings that let in light from outside. For my part, I've always found great beauty in the design of this modern roof. As I've already mentioned, I had no intention of taking photographs to share in a post... But suddenly, I came across a small collection of fans and said to myself... I'll take some photographs for @mipiano, as this month is Fan Month. As explained to me, these fans were small works of art handmade in Valencia. Once the photos were taken, I told myself again, no more... I had to disconnect. --- >Llegar a la Terminal 4 del aeropuerto de Madrid es todo un espectáculo si se mira hacia las alturas. >Las formas onduladas se suceden intercaladas por aperturas circulares que dejan entran la luz del exterior. Por mi parte, siempre he encontrado mucha belleza en el diseño de esta moderna techumbre. >Como ya he expresado no tenía intención de tomar fotografías para compartir en una publicación... Pero de pronto me enontré con una pequeña colección de abanicos y me dije... tomaré unas fotografías para @mipiano que este mes es el mes del abanico. >Según me cexplicaron estos abanicos eran pequeñas obras de arte realizadas a mano en Valencia. Una vez tomadas las fotos me volví a repetir que ya ninguna más... que había que desconectar.

Inside the plane, I took more photographs... but this time they were just for me. I don't know if the same thing happens to you, but I'm still fascinated by the fact that a mass of metal can fly like a bird. I don't deny that humanity has left behind true feats of engineering for posterity... but flying, flying... only the most modern of humanity has participated in this miracle of technology. --- >Dentro del avión volví a tomar nuevas fotografías... pero en esta ocasión iban a ser sólo para mí. Desconozco si les ocurre lo mismo, pero me sigue fascinando que una mole de metal pueda volar como un ave. No niego que la humanidad ha ido dejando para la posteridad auténticas obras de ingeniería... pero volar, volar... sólo la humanidad más moderna ha participado de este milagro de la técnica.

From what I heard when I returned to Spain from this trip, it seems I was spared a serious heat wave. This is one of the reasons I try to travel to northern Europe during the month of August... to escape the heat of Madrid. The truth is, it was quite refreshing to go from the hot Castilian summer 🔥 to the Swedish spring, my apologies... I meant the Swedish summer. 😀 --- >Por lo que me comentaron a la vuelta a España de este viaje parece que me libré de una buena ola de calor. Este es uno de los motivos por los que procuro viajar al norte de Europa durante en el mes de agosto... huir del calor de Madrid. >La verdad es que fue bastante reconfortante pasar del caluroso verano castellano 🔥 a la primavera sueca, mis disculpas... quería decir al verano sueco. 😀

Although at first I fulfilled all my goals with iron discipline, as the days went by I began to interact on Hive... some votes, some comments if I was mentioned in a post... and I started taking photos thinking about the possibility of a new post for Hive... 😁 --- >Aunque en los primeros momentos cumplí con férrea disciplina todos mis propósitos, conforme iban pasando los días comencé a interactuar en Hive... algún voto, algún comentario si era mencionado en alguna publicación.. y comencé a tomar fotos pensando en la posibilidad de una nueva publicación para Hive... 😁

Since a few days had passed before I started taking pictures, this post only captures a few examples of the beauty of the place. Although I couldn't leave out two murals that I love. I don't know if you know, but Malmö is known as the city of comics, and many of its streets and walls feature pop art references. But that's for another post. --- >Como antes de comenzar a tomar fotografías pasaron unos días... en esta publicación hay pocos ejemplos de la belleza del lugar. >Aunque no podían faltar dos murales que me encantan. No se si lo saben pero Malmö es conocida como la ciudad del comic y en muchas de sus calles y paredes hay referencias a este arte pop. Pero esto será para otra publicación.

The only disappointment, a small disappointment, was the small number of birds I saw compared to other years. I especially missed the large clouds of jackdaws moving like dark waves beneath the clouds. However, I did encounter a large, saucer-eyed owl that stared at me for a long time... --- >La única decepción, pequeña decepción, ha sido la poca cantidad de pájaros que pude ver en comparación de otros años. Especialmente he hechado de menos las grandes nubes de grajillas moviéndose como oscuras olas bajo las nubes. >Sin embargo me encontré con un gran búho con ojos de plato que durante un buen rato puso su mirada sobre mí persona...

Continuing with the boycott of my initial vacation plan, on Friday the 22nd I attended a concert by Sugar Hill Gang and The Furious Five, two of the great groups from the old, very old school of Hip-Hop. A school so remote in time that the term Hip-Hop didn't exist... it was all simply Rap. In a very festive atmosphere, I had the opportunity to listen to classics like "White Lines," "Rapper's Delight," and anthems like "The Message," four decades after their release. All in a festive atmosphere, far removed from the machismo, the mafia world, and the drugs so prevalent in contemporary Hip-Hop. --- >Continuando con el boicot a mi propósito inicial de descanso, el viernes 22 acudí al concierto de Sugar Hill Gang y The Furious Five, dos de los grandes grupos de la vieja, muy vieja, escuela del Hip-Hop. Una escuela tan remota en el tiempo que el término Hip-Hop no existía... todo era simplemente Rap. >En un ambiente muy festivo tuve la oportunidad de escuchar a una distancia de cuatro décadas de su estreno clásicos como White Lines, Rapper's Delight o himnos como The Message. Todo en un ambiente festivo y muy alejado del machismo, del mundo de la mafia y las drogas tan en boga en el Hip Hop contemporáneo.

At this point, when the publication is halfway through... I can't help but mention that, speaking of collections... I didn't just come across a fan collection... I also came across a board game collection, and I was reminded of... --- >En este momento en el cual ya el ecuador de la publicación quedó atrás... no puedo dejar de mencionar que hablando de colecciones... no sólo me encontré con una de abanicos... también me encontré con una de juegos de mesa y volví a acordarme de...

On the last day, I dedicated myself to walking through one of Malmö's great green spaces, Pildammsparken. A park with a huge pond and enormous trees. A place where you can stroll peacefully, enjoying the different landscapes offered by this vast expanse of vegetation and water. I think the images speak for themselves, reflecting the beauty of the landscape, which can be observed from different perspectives. Sometimes the vegetation appears organized, as if designed with a set square and protractor; at other times, it appears wild and unruly. --- >El último día lo dediquá a pasear por uno de los grandes espacios verdes de Malmö, Pildammsparken. >Un parque con un enorme estanque y árboles enormes. Un sitio por el que se puede pasear con tranquilidad dsifrutando de los diferentes paisajes que ofrece esta enorme bolsa de vegetación y agua. >Creo que las imágenes hablan por si mismas de la preciosidad del paisaje que se puede observar desde diferentes perspectivas. En ocasiones la vegetación aparece ordenada, como diseñada con escuadra y cartabón, en otras se muestra salvaje e insumisa.

Sunsets in this part of the world at this time of year are beautiful. The next day I returned to Madrid and took advantage of that afternoon to take my last walk in the reddish, dim light of the twilight. --- >Los atardeceres en esta zona del planeta y en estas fechas son hermosos. Al día sigueinte volvía a Madrid y aproveché esa tarde para dar mi último paseo bajo la rojiza y tenue luz del ocaso.
