the other day a customer of mine here in town was complaining that the last ice storm really messed up his roof. he sounded very concerned that it was a serious problem so i promised him i woud come and have a look after work. now here in the north this time of year i go to work in the dark and by the time i finish night has already fallen. on top of that there was a light fog that was creating a layer of ice on everything. his house is right on the harbor and there were nice reflections on the relatively still water.
as i approached his house, even from a distance i could see that fixing this roof is going to be a piece of work!
