earlier this year some exterior repairs were going on at my neighbors house. their house is quite close to ours so there was a bit of disturbance with parking, noise, and sawdust blowing everywhere that we had to put up with but on the bright side their scaffolding casts some nice shadows so i'm not complaining, at least not anymore.
and besides, when our house needs some work the tables will be turned, so we grinned and kept good relations with the neighbors and their workers and soon enough the work was finished
