It was an awesome experience yesterday asked by the General Oversea of the Christian Fellowship Evangelical to share the bread of LIFE on ''Becoming an agent of Change''. Have often don't have such opportunity so I truly depended on the Spirit of God for utterance and revelation, it was more of an opportunity to delve into a sensitive topic considering that each and every person has its purpose and assignment to accomplish here on earth...., by that carrying out a change as ordained by God.

Who is an Agent of Change, a person who carries out an action on behalf of another person, by this it means humans carrying out the intention and will of God here on earth. It is doing what God designed or arranged for us to carry out.

12So he sent for him and had him brought in. He was glowing with health and had a fine appearance and handsome features.

Then the Lord said, “Rise and anoint him; this is the one.”

13So Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the presence of his brothers, and from that day on the Spirit of the Lord came powerfully upon David. Samuel then went to Ramah.> - BIBILE HUB - NIV

I noted a few things:

  1. That there are people that God chose or ordain to carry out specific purpose. By this the assigned duties can only be carried out by the person and no one else. No don't ague about this cos inline with the Bible, Israel had no one capable, willing or able to face the worrier from their enemies except that man appointed by God for the battle. NO one could have done it except DAVID

  2. Agents of Change are often underrated by Men as weak but very useful tool in the hands of God. David was known as a sheep keeper and was asked to go back to the Shepard duties by his elder brother. He was labeled as being arrogant and foolish. that's what happens mostly to people chosen by God for a given task, the similar experience was that of Joseph and many others. God looks into Intents of the Heart and not the physical.

  3. Agents of change are intentional, Visionary and missionary. God creates passion and with it gives direction on how to carry out the assigned duty. God also provides the needed tools, people, instruments and tools needed to carryout a given task. God helped David gather the right men needed for the task of liberating the people of Israel from oppression.

  4. Agents of Change are bent on helping in meeting the needs and solving problems of other people. They are often looking for measures to assist their families, society and environment. so if we intentionally seek to solve the problems of other we will walk into out given purpose and ordained missions of our lives. When we seek to solve the problems of other, we unknowingly carryout Gods ordained plans for our destiny.
