Last month, something caught my eye on Twitter. It was a custom color wheel... and the artist drew on it different scenes depending on the color. I searched for it on Google, hoping to find a high quality template, and it seemed it had been around for a while now. (I didn't quite find the template I want, so I recreated it.)
I thought, "Heeey, I want to try this challenge!" But I was conflicted about what kind of theme to go by. Finally, since I just absolutely love drawing women, I decided I would draw a woman in different settings, depending on the color wheel.
(Other artists I found drew anime characters, others, flowers. Others, the clouds. It was such an interesting challenge!)
And today, I drew in pink.

I love pink. I don't care if others think it's too girly. I still love pink, anyway. This was a chance for me to draw in pink.
The idea was loosely based off this reference -- I just decided to add a little more creative spin into it. Here's how it turned out:

I drew so much today, my thumb hurt. I hated drawing the pink roses, but I had to. I struggled so much, I whined about it every few minutes or so. The flowers alone took me two hours... it just really made me want to cry.
I still very much enjoyed drawing the face, though. But the hand... I had to give up on it, at least for today. 🥹
inside the wheel
So here's how my pink entry looks like inside the wheel. I'm so excited to tackle the rest of the colors! I wonder which color I should do next. I'm thinking cyan, and maybe something bubbly? IDK. Heck, I don't even know when the next time I'll get to draw again will be. Heh.

I can't believe I got to spend so many hours working on this! I was so determined to just sleep off the whole afternoon today, but I need extra money. 🤪 Way to show that truly, if there's a will, there's a way LMAO.
