Today, I tried to draw IU. For the first time in a long, long time, I managed to draw something in one sitting. If I'm not off, finishing this drawing took me just over 3 hours.
Was I motivated? I think so. I'll be going back to Metro Manila soon. In fact, I will be moving in tomorrow. This means I might not have enough time to do things I normally would. Like drawing (not that I manage to do this as often as I did back in 2020). I'll be attending graduate school soon, and I have mentorships and work on top of that. Thinking about just that gets me driven to do something right now.
So I did, and here's the result.
Well, I don't think this one turned out so bad. I didn't bother much doing all details -- I know pushing to clean everything up will result to just not doing this one altogether, so I had to fight the urge. I based this drawing off this reference.
I love IU. If you don't know her, she's a South Korean singer with a very sweet and beautiful voice. She's got great personality, too, and has a heart of gold. Oh, and she's got really good songs, too!

Drawing her had been pretty straightforward. I made sure to focus more on the face, then just draw however and whatever for the rest. 😆 I was driven to draw something all right, but just not too driven.

And that's it from me for now. It's nearly 21:00 here in the PH, and I need to be up early tomorrow for the move in. I hope I can draw again soon. If there's anything drawing this one in one sitting tells me, then it's if there's a will, there's a way. LMAO!
